As a long time fan of Madam Caballe and new time fan of Mr Mercury, this is a duet that will captivate you! Two unique and powerful voices join together to bring out the emotions of life. Whether the tradition of grand opera or the raw passion of rock, these two join their unlikely voices to bring us a unique artistic treat. We are very lucky to be able to share the magic of this special couple.
Free Music Review: Brilliant. Hit: 5 Stars
On 'Barcelona', Freddie Mercury (Farrokh Bulsara) from Queen and Montserat Caballé gave one of their uppermost musical performances.
What you hear is a brilliant mixture of different styles brought together in a unique and melodious way.
It's really a great pleasure to listen at all times to the recordings on this first class album 'Barcelona'.
Free Music Review: Brilliant Hit: 5 Stars
Freddy Mercury is brilliant, and cabelle and mercury make a perfect match. Barelona is a great piece of work, from the title track to the last track how can I go on. This is one of my favorite albums of all time, The fallin priest and the opera version of excersices in free love are brilliant. Guide me home/how can I go on are beutiful. If you wanna listen to inspiring music by this cd.
Free Music Review: True Music Hit: 5 Stars
Two great voices, Freddie's with power, energy & drama and Montserrat's finely trained singing. As always, Freddie gives us his soul.
This would have been a 5 star rating with Freddie on his own, but coupled with Montserrat it is dynamic& wonderful listening (& I'm not a big opera fan at all).
If you love real, good music, you'll love this.
