Free Music Notes for The Pianist: Music from the Motion PictureFree Music Review: Hauntingly Beautiful Hit: 5 Stars
This collection of (mainly) Chopin tunes is hauntingly beautiful. From the famous notes of Chopin's "Nocturne in C-Sharp Minor" all the way through to the billowing sounds of the haunting clarinet solo in "Moving to the Ghetto," these songs flow in accordance with one another. This album is something that should move any person to tears -- it's simply wonderful.
Free Music Review: Great stuff! Hit: 5 Stars
The film was outstanding and the music from the soundtrack matches the cinematic mood perfectly! I enjoyed the last piece by Wladyslaw Szpilman and he is one talented musician! It would've been nice if he composed his own music and played it in concerts. This is a great soundtrack from a great movie.
Free Music Review: Amazing Movie - Amazing Music Hit: 5 Stars
After seeing the film - I ran to the nearest record store to purchase the soundtrack. I love Chopin's music and these particular pieces are just perfect to coincide with the events of the film. The Mazurka in A minor is an actual recording of Wladislaw Szpilman, The "Pianist" himself.
Free Music Review: Beautiful Hit: 5 Stars
Wonderful, beautiful Chopin, and it's all piano, of course. I'm such a classical music freak. I got this CD just because I love Chopin, but I haven't seen the movie. This CD definitely belongs in any classical music lover's CD collection.
Free Music Review: Moving Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack evokes all the emotions I felt watching this moving film. It demonstrates the beauty of life and why we still go on.
