I bought this cd as I was really taken Kevin Kline's version of "La Mer" playing as the credits were rolling at the end of "French Kiss". Thank goodness, I did. Regardless of whether or not you've seen the film, this cd is worth adding to the collection. Where do I begin? "Someone Like You" by Van Morrison, Louis Armstrong's "La Vie En Rose" and my new favorite "C'est Trop Beau" by Tino Rossi...transported me from my cluttered bedroom to a a romanic interlude on the Seine. Plus, this soundtrack also features Ella and the Beautiful South. I've listened to this a few times now and I haven't fast forwarded through a song yet.Free Music Review: Great Soundtrack Music

I liked the music from the movie"French Kiss" soundtrack. This CD is
an excellent way to exercise or just relax with after a hard days work.
It has smooth, jazz, pop and blues sung by great artists including
two great singers of long ago. I recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys
fine movie soundtrack to listen to. Also, I've never been to Paris,France
but the music made me feel like I was vacationing at that beautiful
romantic city/country. Thanks, Becky S.

The French Kiss soundtrack is so beautiful, romantic and dreamy! Half of the songs are in French and makes the soundtrack very enchanting. It doesn't get much better than Louis Armstrong singing "La Vie En Rose"! Kevin Kline's rendition of "La Mer" is a real treat! When I saw the movie I knew immediately that I HAD to have the soundtrack!!!! Although, I guarantee you do NOT need to love (or even see) the movie to appreciate this soundtrack! I've been to Paris, many moons ago, and the feeling throughout the city was one of people living enjoyable lives, eating good food, and getting romantic under the stars to heartfelt music. This CD has it all. The songs make you feel that Paris vibe; that even if you are sitting on your balcony in a bleak city, the mood of Paris will come wafting to you through your CD player. The music on the French Kiss CD makes the listener wistful. The classic songs conjure up memories I wish I had: of dusky cafes, or a balcony at sunset. This CD makes everything feel perfect, even if only for a moment. ALL of the songs are wonderful; there's no need to press the 'skip' button. Anyone interested in having a feeling of mystery and warm sunlight in their life should get this CD.
