Free Music Notes for 13 SongsFree Music Review: A watershed recording for American independent music. Hit: 5 Stars
Working several influences (dub rhythm being the most noticeable on this CD) into the framework of "punk", this collection of Fugazi's first two EP is a must-have for anyone remotely interested in American music. Period. And since I'm making sweeping generalizations, I might as well say it'll be a long time before another band demonstrates such ability and un-abashed dedication to their music. This recording is proof.

This album is fantastic. The music coveys a dedication to living clean, thinking positive and rejecting being told how to feel. I have been a Minor Threat/Ian Mckay fan since High School. It is great to see him still living in such a devoted manner. My favorite line from this album is "you can't be what you were/so you better start being what you are". Advice to live by. Buy this album and be inspired to live better.
Free Music Review: Good Memories Hit: 5 Stars
This Cd is great! I used to listen to it when I was 13 years old. It makes all the memories come back of being young and carefree. My best friend and i were the "Weird Girls" in school because we knew of Fugazi and a majority of others didn't. I believe those other people missed out! Songs like "Waiting Room" and "Suggestion" still sound great. This is definitely their best CD!
Free Music Review: indie rock Hit: 5 Stars
this is Fugazi's best album in my opinon. It is quenticential indie rock and they are the band to listen to if you like indie rock. Ian McKaye and Guy Piccioto's voices collaborate very well and they both are so unique that it is almost a different style of music when each of them are singing. Fugazi is incredibly versitile and their lyrics are so intelligent. They are definatley one of the best bands ever.
Free Music Review: life changing Hit: 5 Stars
The first Fugazi ep changed punk/hardcore music forever and it changed me. I was a messed up punk kid in high school when I first heard them, and the song "Suggestion" probably saved my life. I've seen Fugazi several times in the past eleven years and I have all of their records but the first two eps are definately my favorite. They touch my soul. I know that's pretty cheesy, but it's true.
