This album is lyrically superior to 99.9% of the hip hop ever produced. The music is totally innovative and creative. No loops, just sample wizardry. All songs are great and on another level. Album is highly regarded in underground circles but never yielded the success they were rightly due.
This was LA's real answer to the NY underground of the early 90's. A little to real to gain mainstream appeal I guess. Where are they today? If anyone knows post a response. Thanks.
