Free Music Notes for Beg for MercyFree Music Review: I'm not really gonna review this but.... Hit: 1 StarsI already wrote here a review something like half a year ago, but then homozon deleted my review. So for now I'm just doing this in order to help lowering the average to 1 star. This sh i t doesn't warrant my explanation.
Free Music Review: Rap is dead Hit: 1 StarsEven though this album is a couple of years old, it is the end of modern rap/hip hop as we know it. Anybody over the age of 11 who purchase or enjoy this album should be slapped over the head. Just because G-Unit plays on MTV and the radio and they say it is good doesn't mean that you think it is good. Thats the problem with society today... people dont think for themselves. Tgey get told that G-Unit's "Beg For Mercy" is hot, and they believe it and give three talented characters millions of dollars. 50 Cent has made money because of Eminem and the production in his "Get Rich or Die Tryin'". As for anything else, he is nothing but yet another talentless 00's rapper.
As for the album, the only half-way descent song is "Stunt 101". It gets extremely old after about three listens, and for everything else, its just saying how if you mess with G-Unit, we gon pop ya and blow your mother****ing brains out and me and my ho's with my 2004 Escalade's with 20 inch rimes with my bulletproof vest and my glock 9's so get on yo knees and lets get it on. ggggggg g-unit. Same crap that we hear from the likes of Eminem, D12, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Fat Joe, Ludacris and any other rapper.
So if you want the current state of rap today, you can pick up the third worst album ever produced. Is this as bad as Metallica's "St. Anger"? Well, it came pretty close with 17 songs and not one of them is worth a second listen. So, as we all say, it makes a great coaster, but why pay 14.99 for a coaster when you can use other bad MTV albuns like Ashlee Simpson's "Autobiography" and the Black Eyed Peas "Monkey Business". Rap is dead. Old school rap is underrated. I like to listen to my Public Enemy and my Beastie Boys albums, but the youth wouldn't know a damn thing about them.
Free Music Review: There are almost 600 Reviews for a Reason Hit: 5 StarsI've been a hip hop fan going on 20 years. From Rakim, Kool G Rap/DJ Polo, Nas, Dre.....I've listened to it all while it was hot.
The big thing these days is G-Unit. While some of their new stuff may not be all that great, their original album "Beg for Mercy" is undoubtedly a classic. The beats are ALL solid, which is an extreme rarity.
Many people don't like these guys because they openly disrespect other rappers. So take the reviews with a grain of salt, there is no doubt this is one of the all time classics. You won't find a single song/beat that will lose your interest.
That is a HUGE rarity these days. Even all time greats like Nas release albums with 2 decent songs and 11 throw aways. G-Unit does as well now, but not back in 2003. They were hungry for respect and it showed.

Free Music Review: Hey look everyone, I just turned gangster! (notice my sarcasm) Hit: 1 StarsYeah son, go get 'em son! Poppin dem thangs, bro! I just turned gangsta just last night and it was the best thing that ever happened to me! I just got finsihed throwing out all my classical rock, jazz, and heavy metal CD's just last night and decided to get me some TRUUE musical talent and musical geniouses that made a ground-breaking revolutionary turn in music like G-Unit, 50 Cents, The Game, Emienem, and that angsty rapper Ja Rule, and that silly little boy with the cornrows Lil Bow Wow! I like doing things such as poppin mah coller and wearing my pants down to mah knees to show what a true gangster I am! But of course when I sag my pants I can't walk no more, I gotta waddle! Yeah son! Before I go to school everyday I practice my catch phrases and pick up lines such as "Fo Sho" and "Yeah son!" and "Hey baby you look fine, can you hook me up with them digits!" and "hey baby you must be tired you've been running through my mind 24/7!" Yeah son! Crips and bloods! I'm Rick James! I'm such a hardass that I bench 10 pounds to gain muscels and impress the women! Then I hang out at duh club to find me some sweet hoes so I can get laid! Everythang good in mah hood, bro! Yeah son, I see you son! Drop it like it's hot, pop it like it's hot, drop it like it's hot, pop it like it's hot! GGGG G G GGGG G UNIT! I now listen to legendary true hardcore rappers like G Unit, 50 Cents, The Game, Emimenem, Ja Rule, and Lil Bow Wow! They talked and preached about TRUEE ghetto gangster problems from the streets, and ghetto life struggles! Yeah son! Yeah boyyyyyyyyy!!!
Haha yeah right! G Unit is a sad sorry excuse for music, this is exactly why they're getting disrespected so much. A bunch of loosers who think they're so hard who like to portray themselves as thugs or as gangsters. It's sad to think that these types of people are the ones getting rich when you have true musicians and bands out there who are working hard each day to get famous and get their chance but they never do. It's a shame if you ask me. And it's pathetic. All rap music is, is nothing but a bunch of wanna-be thugs talking into the microphone talking about their gangster lives, hoes, or their homeboys. I mean come on, quit supporting this crap. Real musicians don't listen to rap. Listen to some heavy metal such as Pantera, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Psyopus, Damage Plan, Necrophagist, Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Red Chord, The Chariot. Or for classical rock musicians, Yngwie Malmsteen or Jimi Hendrix. Or for some jazz, listen to Marion Meadows, Norman Brown, Paul Hardcastle, or Larry Carlton. Avoid this stupid G-Unit rap group which probably wouldn't be remembered in another year. Avoid this stupid "I'll pop a cap in your ass" bullcrap and the stupid "I'm a thug!" image that these loosers G-Unit, all the other rappers out there, and all of their fans try to show off and project. It's stupid and annoying, and a disgrace to REAL music and musical talent.
