This is a very powerful, enjoyable soundtrack. 24 songs in all, although they all seem to flow together quite nicely. Many songs are sub 2:00 in length. Nyman has produced classics in the past and does so again here. When I saw gattaca for the first time I was deeply moved by it. I would have to say it is one of my favorite movies of all time. However the movie could not have been so great if it wasnt for the music. It gave feeling to the movie and its plot. Nyman did an excellent job with this, I give it 5 stars, and two thumbs up.Free Music Review: Incredible

The movie was deeply moving and one of the best films ever made, but it couldn't have been as moving without Michael Nyman's delightfully passionate score. He is a great composer. Michael Nyman wrote a feast of music for this haunting sci-fi film. It's wonderful to have a soundtrack that is this good, one that you don't have to be hovering nearby in order to skip a track or two (or five!), because each track is equally lovely. A spectacularly composed cd. The music is incredibly motivational and poignant. Nyman is a master of his work. He really knew what he was doing and this music has the power to move and motivatate anyone with an open heart with a love for instrumental music. An unsung masterpiece.
