Free Music Notes for In My LifeFree Music Review: A joy to listen to. Hit: 5 Stars
I first heard Jeff Beck`s "Day in the Life" whilst at school for only a moment. I then went on a sort of quest to hear it again. When I finally got my hands on the album I wasn`t dissapointed. This is fantastic. Jim Carrey`s "Walrus" is suprisingly great, as are most of the others. Only two aren`t. Sean Connery`s "In my life" is poor(but funny) and Jeff Beck`s "A Day in the Life" is FANTASTIC! Almost beyond words. It makes my hair stand on end whenever I hear it. Just Magic.
Free Music Review: WOW! If you have any interest in the Beatles or good music. Hit: 5 Stars
WOW. The greatest names of our times meeting with the greatest song writers of our time. Who could ask anything more. The tracks are livley, fun and, in the case of some tracks, actually improve on the original work. The album is an emotional rollercoaster; taking us to supreme silliness with Robin Williams and Jim Carey and to heart-touching honesty with Sean Connery and Vannessa May. If you have any interest in the Beatles, or good music in general, you have to buy this album.
Free Music Review: An amazing collection of Beatles songs for the music lover. Hit: 5 Stars
There isn't one song on this album that doesn't give the listener 110%. Sure, it's not the way The Beatles did it, and none of these songs are better than the original (except maybe one... read on). But it is nonetheless an amazing experience, especially the songs done by Robin Williams, Sean Connery, and the incredibly appropriate Jim Carrey, whose version of "I Am The Walrus" just may out-do Mr. Lennon's masterpiece. George Martin has produced one final, fitting jem.
Free Music Review: Beatles with a smile Hit: 5 Stars
How could any Beatle fan not enjoy a contemporary and often very humerous look back at the music we grew up on? "I am The Walrus" with Jim Carrey and Robin Williams and Bobby McFarren in "Come Together" are enough to make the CD a must for any collector. Great listening and if you can get through the CD without a smile or cranking up your own voice to join in, there's something wrong!
Free Music Review: Enjoy and Stop being so serious Hit: 5 Stars
Enjoy this for what it is.An eclectic blend of finality for a mans work. Some day,the public will tire of the dreck that passes for popular music these days.Judging from a few of the "1 star" reviews,I doubt it.Thanks George. It took some balls, and this is great.P.S. Becks reading of "A Day in the Life",and Carreys send up of "I Am the Walrus" shine.Go get and enjoy
