Free Music Notes for Faith

Free Music Review: Another reason why the '80's rocked!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

If one can forget, as I'm sure the singer has tried, Michael shaking his "bon bons" in the video to the title track, then this is an album of memories and great songs. Each of the eleven tracks is superb, featuring strong vocals and outstanding orchestral and rhythmic accompaniment.

George, like many singers of the era, had an album filled with hits. The eighties was the last decade wherein the success of an album was based on the strength of potential singles, unlike today when ONE monster smash can promote CD sales.

Michael, like many of his contemporaries, was made for video, but "Faith" showed that his voice could stand on its own, separate from the filmed images.

Free Music Review: Sometimes the masses get it right.
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is undeniably the product of a very talented songwriter. Although I tend to disregard nearly everything that graces the radio or billboard charts I just simply can't say anything bad about George Michaels' Faith. With his homoeroticized interpretation of masculinity appearing on the front cover to the transcedental ballad "one more try" ,Michaels took the top forty adult contemporary pop garbage to places of excellence that it has not seen since. One can argue that making an album that is geared toward the masses and solely intended for profit and then in fact personalizing it and also creating something highly enjoyable is more of a feat than making something new and edgy.

Free Music Review: Top Five album of the 80's
Hit: 5 Stars

One of the best things about "Faith" is how surprisingly well it holds up today. If I'm a producer I'm getting someone like Justin Timberlake in the studio today to do a cover of "Hard day". Not that Timberlake can hold a candle to Michael vocally, musically, or in any talent capacity, but that song would be a hit for him today if he did it, no question. This album to me is very underappreciated by history. It's easily one of the best from the 80's and to me one of the best pop albums of all time. I was 11 when this came out and I love it as much today as I did then. It doesn't get the credit it deserves as an outstanding achievement in pop music.

Free Music Review: Pop perfection.
Hit: 5 Stars

If I remember correctly, I believe this was the best selling album of 1987. Why, well six of these were big hits, and one quite controversial at the time. This album also is fairly diverse, having upbeat dance tracks, and smooth ballads as well, and all very good. The songs "Faith", "I Want Your Sex", and "Monkey" all got your feet moving, while others like "One More Try" and "Father Figure" were slow and sexy. George Michael has had good albums since this one, but there's no doubt this is his best. One of the perfect pop albums in history including Purple Rain, Like A Prayer and Thriller.

Free Music Review: FAITH, A REXAMINATION OF GOD!
Hit: 5 Stars

I was a little sceptic of buying this album because of the album cover, but, differences aside I bought it. The first track, 'Faith' is one of the best on the album. The guitar is so great and the lyrics are fun to sing with. It is a great song, one of the best of the 80's! The next song, 'Father Figure' is probably the catchiest song on the album. The chorus is great! My favorite song is 'One More Try', the sadest song and the song with the most talent on the album. George Michael has so much talent, he is exploding with it! Listen to FAITH, God will bless you!
