This album was ahead of its time when it was released and considering that only one person could make such diverse and innovative music one necessarily have to conclude that George Michael's talent is a privileged one. I remember like today the first time I heard "I Want Your Sex". geoge michael became a huge superstar with his first solo album faith. he had 6 top 10 hits from faith. iwant your sex hit #2 despite huge contorversy over the lyrics.faith hit #1. father figure also hit #1.one more try was another #1 hit. monkey was the last #1 hit from faith. kissing a fool also hit th the top 10, peaking at#5. faith is a very good album. i highly recomend it. ed wilsonFree Music Review: still good after all these years. . .

I love this CD, for the individual hits and the collection as a whole. When it first came out, I remember watching MTV and renting the then 'taboo' I want your sex video (incredibly mild by today's standards) and loving the pop feel. But I can still turn to this album today, not just for nostalgia, but for great memorable tunes and lyrics that don't feel too dated.Free Music Review: One of the absolute best 80s records

This CD is still as fresh as when it came out and often graces my player. It presents a very moving mix of emotions, from sex and passion to deceit and loneliness, that feels very genuine. Musically it is phenomenal and not lightweight at all (as compared with the artist's earlier works). George Michael's first solo album, Faith, is a brilliant collection of ballads mixed with some higher tempo pop songs. Everything you could ask for out of an album is in Faith. Whether your in a depressed or upbeat mood their is a song that can inspire you. In my personal opinion this is George Michael's greatest work. And it gets 5 stars any day.
