I've been a George Michael fan since FAITH, which was the coming of age bible, for me and my friends. With Ladies and Gentlemen, George Michael seems to let a lot off his chest after a harrowing couple of years. Today George Michael takes a new focus...he often sheds his old images and tackles untouched topics in his music. The new single "Outside" is one of the best dance releases of the year. With the exception of "Crazyman Dance," and "Soul Free," which were carelessly left off the album...this set shows the best and most popular of his releases in the U.S.. His fans however, are starved for a GM World/U.S. tour. Let's cross our fingers that that happens sometime soon!Free Music Review: Truly "For the heart."

George Michael's album, "Ladies and Gentleman" is an excellent compilation of his finest work. The double disc set divides his songs into "for the heart," and "for the feet." My personal favorite is the former, and in particular "Jesus to a child," "You have been loved," "Heal the pain," "Cowboys and Angels," and "Praying for time," are beautiful tracks. These are wonderful musical arrangements that exhibit George's talent in both writing and vocal arrangements. This cd is for those of you who know good music and appreciate George's talent as an artist. I cannot recommend it highly enough.Free Music Review: He puts it all together with class

If you are an 'unconditional' fan of GM you will love this cd. This is his finest work put together for his fans and as he said in an interview on MTV when asked what his next album will be like: This is a collection of his work to date and he will probably have a pop album because he is tired of being miserable and wants to move forward after this. This is NOT the same OLD stuff. This is however what every artists' greatest hits are: THE BEST of everything they have done to date. So collect the most FAB album from George and look forward to a new album from the one who breaks all the rules and has always been ahead of his time.Free Music Review: Absolutely amazing!

Any true George Michael fan will love this collection! With his new releases as well as the greatest hits put together this is definetely his best yet. It is divided into two CD's,one is for the "heart" which is slow, romantic ballads, and the other for the "feet" which is his dance collection which includes his new song "outside". I have listened to George Michael since the days of Wham! and it is great to have all of his songs on CD, back then I was still buying tapes. This collection will never wear out, and will make an awesome Christmas present or just an "I'm thinking of you" gift.Free Music Review: George Michael best collection

I have all of George Michaels' cds since he went solo and there is not one I would so much as even lend to my closest friend. "Best of George Michael" is just that, a collection of his most popular hits and his best work to date. He is one of a very few singer/song-writers that can move you to extremes with his voice and music. Dance when you really didn't want to, laugh and enjoy the sounds; or listen and feel the meditative moods of the more reflective songs. Bill of Minn. you sound too homophobic to even to have really listened to this music so any opinion of yours is moot. Get out of the loo and hear a master at work.
