Free Music Review: Too Few Tracks-- where's disc 3?

George has a way of addressing the heart and the feet with equal impact, and this double cd demonstrates his abilities perfectly. The only problem? Once a track has finished playing, I find myself mentally moving on to the "next" track from the original album, and feel disappointed that it is not in the order to which I am accustomed. But that's not a problem, as I can always dig out the original and enjoy the "filler" material whenever I want! George never writes anything disposable, and someday even Wham! material will be re-released, and none too soon. Thank you, George, for a great retrospective.Free Music Review: More Than Talent

Putting my personal admiration aside, as an artist I wish only the best for GM. This CD is well done (from a business perspective) and should provide the listener with a true classic. How much of the greatest hits thing is contrived from the record labels (I don't know) but GM's heart will be in his upcoming works (I feel) hopefully, he will stay true to his funky white-soul roots and write ballads that make us all want to be writers. I commend GM on travelling on a road full of more obstacles than most and still coming out on top. And no, you don't have to be gay to appreciate this man's talent. George Michael is an amazing singer. His voice is delicate and smooth, without lacking power. If you are looking for Wham! (I do love Wham!), this is not the CD for you. George Michael proves his awesome solo career with this compilation (if you want Wham! get the import greatest hits album, it's great as well). Every song on the Ladies and Gentlemen album is great. My one complaint is that his performance of Nothing Compares 2 U is not as emotionally charged as Sinead's. But, other than that, the CD is incredible. I really love the version of Don't let the sun go down on me, performed with Sir Elton Himself.Free Music Review: finally!

it's nice to see Gm make a return, albeit by a greatest hits package. The fresh music is great, but the classic songs are what makes this album great. When GM was on top of the charts in the mid to late 80s he was a great influence in pop music. In that era's fascination with big hair, ripped leather jeans, big pyrotechnic stunts, and "power ballards", GM stood out fromt he rest and these classic songs show that. The music won't disappoint in this album, so hop on board and take a trip back to the late 80s and early 90s. And for the new comers, trust me...."cause you gotta have Faith...."Free Music Review: It should have been called an Anthology

Just when I thought nothing was going to top "Older", he produces an encyclopaedia of top tracks, each one prompting a "ooh, I LURVE this one!" Never before has there been a better selection of tracks to listen to while you're getting ready for Saturday night out; glass of wine in one hand, mascara in the other, and sublime sounds from your stereo...prepare to be invincible!
