I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF GEORGE FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND THIS CD IS A GREAT ONE IT'S NOT THE DANCE MUSIC MOST HEAR BUT THAT OK. THE JAZZ ON THIS CD IS WOW-WOW AND HE JUST OUTED RICKEY.M IN THIS CD IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN MOST OF MUSIC IS JAZZ AND NOT POP I'VE LISTEN TO THIS CD TUESDAY (( THIS IS A MUST HAVE CD ))... I happened upon this cd recently and I purchased it without thinking twice. I don't regret it at all. Yes, it is different from anything George has ever done, but I appreciate and respect that. George is a *genius*, and he has in no way failed his fans with this release. "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" is the best track, if you ask me.

Well...I listen to almost everything and I can't be indiferent to his talent!I believe he's one of the finest singers around and he's getting better each year!
Older is my Fav and this one just shows he sings anything he wants!!!
I would like to see him working with Prince or other great musicians...could be interesting...don't U agree? :)

Wow, what a voice: captivating. Outstanding songs include 'The First Time...' and 'Roxanne'. Let this album grow with you. If you are at least curious, then get it; especially if you appreciate his sound from 'Listen Without Prejudice'. The album's theme is especially intriguing now that the new century is in fact here. Bravo George, I love your work!
