George's voice is smooth and sexy on this recording. He did an impeccable job with the arrangements. The only song that didn't fit was "Roxanne". He did a great job in arrangeing the song to fit a jazz feel, but in my opinion, he could have chosen another song that wasn't in the rock genre. Buy this if you're a George fanatic or if you like jazz.Free Music Review: Wonderful

There are very few albums that bear endless repeating (in the car or, as in my case, drifting off to sleep with every night to hide the russle of small children).Less than a handful come to mind: "Jordan, The Comeback" (Prefab Sprout), "Stakes Is High" (De La Soul), "Wild Wood" (Paul Weller), "The Red Shoes" (Kate Bush).

It's an absolutely fantastic and wonderful record. There's a link between the songs and George's voice is the most expressive and touching voice I've ever heard. It's an album you'll enjoy listening again and again... The song "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" is probably the best.Thank you, George!

I am going to buy this CD although I havent heard any of the songs. I can say that this artist has musical talent and originality in abundance as I have a collection of all his previous work. Unlike some of the previous reviewers, I CAN remember the songs on this CD. Needless to say, GM has a wonderful voice & I was anxious to own this CD. His style fits beautifully with the music here. It was refreshing to read Roly's review, since it didn't follow others expecting the same as always stuff.
