George plays every track with a fire and passion that is all his own, just crank up the volume and let er' rip. His band is one of the tightest in the business, listen as Jeff Simon (drums), Ron Smith (second guitar), Billy Blough (bass), Uncle Meat Pennington (tambourine/maracas) and Hank Carter (saxophone), take on "WHO DO YOU LOVE?", the title song by E. McDaniel is contagious beyond all words, Thorogood is completely in his element.

Rounder gives the listener a little Chuck Berry mixed with Bo Diddley, not to mention John Lee Hooker in the guise of George Thorogood "ONE BOURBON, ONE SCOTCH, ONE BEER", reminiscent of the Hooker days with great storytelling to pay the rent. Everyone to the dance floor with "NEW HAWAIIAN BOOGIE", this is much more than a toe tapping tune, get ready for some fancy footwork.

We close the album with "WHO DO YOU LOVE?"(live version), is a previously unreleased cue recorded live at the Palomino, Hollywood, California on April 22, 1979...this track puts a nice big red ribbon on an already collectable package, gotta love it!
