Free Music Review: Shattered sound, hah

The title if you break it down means shattered sounds something that is very deceiving Ms. Halliwell hit her mark on her first solo outing, and proves that she can hold her own as an artist. "Look at Me" is just wonderful I love the beat and the lryics. "Bag it Up" another excellent track, and "Lift Me Up" is a wonderful pop ballard. But "Mi Chico Latino" is kinda of off mark here and its b-side "G-A-Y Good As You' would have better placed on this album. Over all though this album is classic '90s pop music and an excellent solo album from the ex-Ginger Spice
Schizophonic Poster
While hardly a masterpiece on the order of "Say You'll Be There," the former Ginger Spice's step into the solo arena does an acceptable job of refashioning her into a "grownup" diva. Generally underdeveloped material doesn't help, but the thin-voiced Halliwell acquits herself well enough on some pop-funk numbers and when tweaking the sort of '60s high camp of which Robbie Williams has been so fond. --Rickey WrightDance & DJ Music CDs
