Free Music Review: Best Release of '99, Britney can eat crap!

I first purchased the album only because it was Geri. To be honest I thought it would be poor. I am happy to say I was wrong. VERY, VERY wrong!!! Geri, contrary to what some people might think does have a great vocal range. From ballads to disco to jazz to latin dance to...you get it already. I was blown away by it. For those about to listen to it. I would say that the album highlights are; 'Look At Me' (obviously); the disco track 'Bag It Up"; the latino number "Mi Chico Latino"; the uplifting 'Lift Me Up'; the best ballad of them all 'Walkaway'; and last but not least the sexy jazz number 'Goodnight Kiss'. The rest of the tracks, the churchy 'Sometime', the indian influenced 'Let Me Love You', the intospective day at the beach theme 'Someone's Watching Over Me' and finally the boppy 'You're In A Bubble' are all great. There's something for everyone and hey if you get bored of the cover you can change it to wicked Geri (it's double sided if you haven't noticed). Buy it now!Free Music Review: Geri pays her dues

She is better without the Spice girls. ALOT better.She is more likeable and most of her songs are well written. "Schizophonic" is all in all a nice pop-albumLook at me. This is Geri. A great and poppish dance song. I like it
Lift me up. An athmospheric ballad. One of the best songs here.
Walkaway. This is my favourite . Another ballad with wonderful lyrics. It could be about her time after the Spice Girls
Mi chico latino: As the title says this is a latin song. Geri sounds great
Goodnight kiss: This is some kind of R'n'b. I had to get used to this song
Bag it up: Great dance-song. Reminds me of her Spice girls-time
Sometime: Mid-tempo-song. It's OK
Let me love you: Another great dance-song. But I don't like the intro. It sounds far-eastern but very strnge somehow
Someone's watching over me. I don't like this one. It's a boring R'n'b song
You're in a bubble: I also had to get used to this one. i can't describe the style but it sounds funny

Schizophonic is the debut album by former Spice Girl member Geri Halliwell and it sure lives up to it's hype! I'll do a break-down of each song for you. Look At Me (5)- Awesome, upbeat different sounding song unlike any other songs.Lift Me Up (5)- A bubble gum pop type song with a great, catchey tune.
Walkaway (5)- A song about Geri leaving the Spice; emotional, sad song.
Mi Chico Latino (5)- A Latin influenced track; the best track on the c.d.
Goodnight Kiss(4)- A jazzy type track; really shows off Geri's voice.
Bag It Up(5)- A get-up-and-dance track; great song for a party
Sometime(5)- An almost scary song with a holy influence in it; definitly schizophonic.
Let Me Love You(4)- A Native- American/ Asian influenced track; pretty cool.
Someone's Watching Over Me(4)- Another emotional track. It's about Geri's father.
You're In A Bubble(5)- A cruel and mean pop song supposidly directed towards Melanie G.

When Geri Halliwell quit the spice girls! Everyone said "she was a good star to bad we will never see her again. Well she has went far with 3 number one's 1/3 of the spice number ones. here is a review of each songs she one her debut album. 1.look at me- a 50's kinda song which has a lot of geri written on it. 2 lift me up- a slow up beat balled geri gave it all her best to sing the balled it was number1 3 walkaway- a song wich was about how she left the group 4 mico latino- her version of if u can't dance/has her spanish rap on it. 5 goodnight kiss- a song that geri was born to sing it is a another 50's balled 6 bag it up- a 70/80's song which has very good lyrics on it it was number 1 7 sometime - her makeover britiney spears song i like this one better. 8 let me love u- her song for her best friend george 9 someone watching over me- a song about her father death and how she miss him and hope that he's proud of her. 10 your in a bubble- her song to poke fun of the spice girls.Free Music Review: A very nice chill out album

I bought Gerie's new albume because I have followed her since she became famouse, I am a DJ and when I bought the albume in Virgin Megastore, I also perchased both singles on viynle, along with about 85 outher records on viynle wich were hip-hop, drum'n'base, dance garage and house selections, the girl serving me scanned evrything in and then gave me a very dirty look when she picked up Geri's almbum and i said yes is there a problem, she said no but why have u bought this all this outher stuff is good but this is just rubbish, I then as politly as I could told her where to shove her thoughts and then reported her for sort of discrimanating Geri, i recantly mixed geri's look at me with a very fast fresh kutt tune the club whent wild and they were channting for a rewind which was very cool, i have so much more i want to say but it will have to weight, thanks, geri, keep up the great music,oh and buy the way u have an amazing voice, seeya later babe!
