Geri always has been one of my favorite Spice Girls!I received a *huge* collection of Spice and solo-Spice CDs as a gift from a friend, and I've gotta say, "Scream" is one of the best solo efforts of any of the girls.
Geri Halliwell has always been underestimated, maybe it's because of her "persona," but she is an intellectual and a wonderful talent. I admire her ability to buck the musical "establishment" and go with what she is deep down. "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster" doesn't seem to be too much of a departure from "Schizophonic." Both albums carry Halliwell's wacky sense of style and has that special "touch," that just seems to always work. She jumps from fun to meaningful and deep all over the place, every other song it seems, which makes for a piece of work that is unexpected and never gets boring. When you put it together, it's interesting, rather than unorganized. Let's face it, every move Geri makes is thought through.
Yep, she promised us she would be back, better than ever; and she's live up to it.

Geri's second solo CD was highly anticipated and she sure as hell delivers with this one!
This would have been to one of the best CD's that any of the Spice Girls released as a group or as a solo artist (only second to perhaps Melanie C's Northern Star) and is full of catchy pop songs that really do want to make you listen to them over and over again.
Ok so I hear you saying but geri doesn't have the BEST voice on the planet....well so what?? We can't all sing the same - that would be quite boring...that is why there are so many different genres of music these days. Geri just seems to have the formual right for this cd where the songs really suit her voice and that is what makes a successful artist.
I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of the cover of "It's Raining Men" but she does do it justice.
The other outstanding tracks on this album are "Shake Your Bootie Cutie", "Strength Of A Woman", "Circles Around The Moon" & the title track "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster"

Who would have thought that the artist formerly known as Ginger Spice would have ever made it this far? With two hugely successful spice girl albums and an enormously successful solo album behind her, Geri Halliwell is showing no signs of giving up. Back and more fit and sexy than ever, Mrs. Halliwell has released the pop album of the decade. Scream If You Wanna Go Faster (and how could you go wrong with a title like that?) is what makes Geri who she is. Every song on the album is in some way catchy and addictive. With upbeat made to make you move songs like the title track, Shake Your Bootie Cutie, and Feels Like Sex and absolutely beautiful ballads like Calling, Love is the Only Light, and Cirles Round the Moon you can't go wrong with this one. This is gonna be the summer pop album for spice fans, Geri fans and anyone who is willing to listen!! If you don't have this GET THIS! Geri Halliwell is back with her sophmore effort, Scream If You Wanna Go Faster. The Artist Formerly Known as Ginger Spice proves she's still schizophonic. It's got great ballads like, Calling, Circles Round The Moon, Love Is the Only Light and I Was Made that Way. It also has your get up and move tunes like the title track, Shake your Bootie Cutie, Feels Like Sex and the cover of the Weather Girls classic It's Raining Men. There's even the requisite Girl Power anthem Strength of a Woman. It also features the tracks Don't Call Me Baby, Lovey Dovey Stuff, and Heaven & Hell(Being Geri Halliwell) which are hard to catagorize. I've loved this record since I popped it into my CD player the first time. I know it's ... but it's worth it. I doubt they'll release this album here in the US which is a shame. I think a lot of people, not just Spice Girls fans, would like this CD.Free Music Review: fantastic cd

yeah yeah geri is back with a fantastic second album, geri may not be the world's best singer but she does do great songs!! every single she has released has been unique in its own way. Her recent cover of weather girls classic 'its raining men' is her best yet! it makes you just wanna get up and dance as soon as you hear it. Other great songs on this album are 'scream if u wanna go faster', 'circles round the moon' and 'shake your bootie cutie'. Geri is by far the best solo spice girl im glad she left she's far better on her own and this album proves it so buy it today or you'll miss out on another breathtaking collection of songs from the legend who is Geri Halliwell (Ginger spice is long gone!!) and good riddens!!
