Free Music Review: "The Very Definition Of Punk."

This is the exact definition of what punk is. The Germs were and still are the greatest punk band ever(I would say X is, but they are more universal). The Germs started out not knowing how to play their instruments or sing. They ended up with this great collection of some of the greatest music ever made.
MIA has almost all they're stuff. It's so pure and raw. Darby Crash's lyrics were on a different level and that's impressive being he was so young. You could hear the painful drones in every word he belted out. He showed that you don't have to have the standard musical abilties to be a lead singer. He inspired alot of people with that theory.Crash's growl like vocals merge so good with Pat Smear's frenzy'd, choatic, hundred mile an hour riffs. Every time I hear this album, it feels like the apacolypse is coming out of my speakers.Sweet, Lorna Doom is definately one of the most underrated bass players of all time and she is probably one of the most beautiful. Don Bolles rocks hard on the drums.
The Germs changed the chorse of music history. They were the first real hardcore band. Opening the door for so many California hardcore bands and then hardcore bands all over the country, hell, all over the world. If it wasn't for the Germs today's music would be very different.
This album is a must have for every music fan. And if you have a bunch of dumb, boring, "normal" people at your house that you want to get rid of, just throw this c.d. in and in 5 minutes they'll be gone,garanteed. I know, I've done it many times.
The Germs were only around for a short time but their music effected alot of people and really showed that anyone who loves music
can start a really great band. "Our Way" or what.
