Free Music Review: One CD you must own
Hit: 5 Stars

well to start off im a huge nofx, and adolescents fan etc.. any ways so im lookin for a cd to buy and i came across germs (m.i.a) and i remembered the remake of the song forming by nofx so i gave the cd a shot. it is THE BEST cd i own, havent even takin it out of my cd player its just too catchy, the guitar is simple, the drums have a great beat, lyrics are just amazing. although their is a down side with the song "sexboy" you can barly hear it :( and the first song forming is okay but its like the lyrics are seperated from the instruments so the left ear you hear the drums, etc.. and right side you hear the vocals.
BUT WHO CARES!!!! GREAT CD
so you either buy it,and love it or make a mistake not to buy its your choice.

Free Music Review: sweet sweet classics
Hit: 5 Stars

Hell, I wasn't even born when Darby Crash took that final overdose of heroin, but any punk can appreciate the sloppy angst of L.A.'s original punk band. Although I'm sure these recordings capture none of the live energy of Darby hurling himself upon broken glass while a rancid food storm showers down, this album is an awesome display of pure punk, without the commercialism of the sex pistols. However, hard classic punk is an acquired taste. Most people's ears can't take too much Germs, so MxPx fans beware. Sloppy guitar and "singing" that doesn't keep tempo with the musical rhythm make for a wonderfully ear-stinging combination.

Free Music Review: FINALLY BACK IN STOCK
Hit: 5 Stars

I have waited forever to get this because it was out of stock for quite some time , but now i finally got it. All the classics from (GI) are here , plus some other spotty recordings. My original copy of this was stolen , and i'm very happy to have this. I had to settle with my copy of "Media Blitz" which is a poorly recorded import , but all the songs are here in their original form. "Forming" , "Manimal" , "Lexicon Devil" , "Shut Down" and many more classics. Darby Crash is a lyrical genius , and the Germs definitely portrayed the live fast , die young label. Own this

Free Music Review: Sick to my stomache
Hit: 5 Stars

My coworker walked in while i was playing this disc, and he said it made him sick to his stomache listening to it. rad sh*t man...hehe...

in all seriousness this is a great disc, if your a fan of the old school cali punk style, raw, simple, and f**kin hardcore youll like this disc. His vocals are so raw and sometimes sickening it actually soundsl ike hes throwing up sometimes. only negative to the disc is they have a few on here that are lower quality recordings of tracks, but if that doesnt bother you then i say buy it, my fav tracks are communist eys, what we do is secret, we must bleed, and lexicon devil.

Free Music Review: Weirdism
Hit: 5 Stars

Darby Crash was indeed insane and his rock and roll lifestyle did eventually cost him his life, however before he croaked me managed to release some very respectable punk rock, the most evidently great release was M.I.A. The songs are fast and catchy and sang with a snotty, desperate scream. Songs like We Must Bleed stick inside of my head and refuse to get out. Overall this is a very good punk rock release that paved the way for many more bands. I stronly recommend this record to anyone who is a fan of punk or any hard rock type music.
