i've said it before and i'll say it again,the rza is one of the best producers out there.not just in rap but in the whole music industry.he's also a good rapper.he does both very well on this soundtrack which i think is his best work so far.if you think you've heard his work before you havent heard anything yet if you havent picked this up.it is very different from his earlier work this being better.i cant pick out a few songs that stand out from the rest because i can honestly say that every single song here is good.theres also a total of 7 quotes from the movie spoken by forest whitaker in between some of the songs.do yourself a favor and get this cd now!Free Music Review: wow

i'm not giving this album 5 stars just because its good, it gets five stars because it is maybe the best soundtrack you've ever listened to. when was the last you listened to a soundtrack in which you liked the vast majority of the songs? maybe never. but this one is changes the whole scene, because the rza really got serious on this album. the production is rza with his 1995 accuracy and completeness. the rhymes are well done. listening to this completes my prediction that the 1993-1995 wu will be back

Rza once again proves why he is the Best producer/musician with his diverse complement. With his expanded musical abilities, he adds atmospheric ambience with textured layers to this soundtrack. But don't expect any Wu-like sound on here, as Rza shows that his music transcends far beyond accustomed hip-hop dance/club or radio-friendly material. Ghost Dog The album is very ill. Rza does some of his best production on this Sdtk. Every song is well produced and the artist(mainly undergroung Wu kats) spit tight verses. Rza should be noted highly for his work on this album/sdtk. All songs are ill. The only negitive thing on this masterpiece is all the talking by Forest(but that made it a sdtk I guess). If you like Wu and hip hop with rugged beats don't sleep on Rza's Ghost Dog. No dought one of the best albums of 2000.Free Music Review: Do you Have what it takes?

Negative reviewers, are you smokin? Or have they really seen this marvelous movie? There is somthing called a SPIRIT. Yeah, mabye all music wasn't there, but EVERY single FEELING and MOOD of the movie is in this cd. I saw it again after 3 years. It's even more powerful. Get offa you couches folks and learn to see with your heart, not glasses titled "movie soundtrack." Get this or the dvd, you won't be disspointed.
