This album introduces a new dimension to rap. The beats are eerie and makes you think about life after death. The vocals are powerfully executed and complement the unusual beats. This is definitely not the run-of-the-mill rap release. It is much more than this. It takes me a couple of listens to get myself into this album. A powerfully excecuted collection of Rza at his best. I recently bought this album expecting from what I heard of the japanese version plus the quotes, I was really disapointed, if you want the nice beats from RZA find the jap version of this soundtrack, its nice. Besides all that, this soundtrack is still great, and the movie was awesome as well, this definately deserves the 5.Free Music Review: CLASSIC!!!

The movie is great, but the soundtrack is better. If you're looking for the score to the film you've got the wrong album, all of that stuffs on the Japanese import.
