Free Music Review: Good collection of some Rarer Ghost tracks

The 4th album that Ghost has been a part of in the past 17 months is "Hidden Darts", while a lot of these fake phony limited skill rappers out now drop song after songs of garbage, Ghostface shows here why he is one the premier MC's, cause all 4 of the albums he was part of in the past year and a half are better than almost everythig thats comes out now. With 22 songs, you get a lot of some of the more rare tracks from mixtapes and ones that didn't make his albums. If you're a fan of the Wally Champ you've more than likely heard some of the songs (a few from "Fishscale", "More Fish", Theodore Unit's "718", and his collabo album with Trife "Put it on the Line", and a few others from mixtapes) (I've heard 11 of the 22 before). Guests are on a little over half of the songs and almost all are from the Wu or Theodore Unit. Of the 22 songs, 1 is a near classic, 13 are good or real good and 8 are decent, like always he has no bad songs on here. A must have from one of the most consistant lyricists of all time.

Ghostface Killah (aka Tony Starks, Ironman, Ghost Deini, Pretty Toney, Wally Champ, GFK, Starky Love, Dennis Coles) is one of the best rappers ever. He continues to release quality music year after year. A member of the Hip Hop collective Wu-Tang Clan, his name is derived from the alias of the primary villain from the film "Ninja Checkmate" (aka "The Mystery of Chess Boxing"). After Wu-Tang Clan achieved breakthrough commercial success in the early 90s, Ghostface, like his clan-mates, began a solo career, which turned out to be one of the most critically and commercially successful solo careers of all the group members. Early in his career he would wear a mask during performances and photoshoots. It was rumoured this was because Ghostface was wanted by the police and did not publicly remove it until his name was cleared. Since his debut on the opening verse of "Bring da Ruckus", the first track from the Wu-Tang Clan's critically acclaimed debut, 1993's "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)", Ghostface has made little effort to appeal to anyone outside of his loyal New York street fan base, yet he continues to achieve surprising commercial success. His latest release, called "Hidden Darts: Special Edition", is a collection of rarities and non-album cuts that span Ghost's entire career. Full of raw beats and flowing rhymes, the CD features guest rappers including fellow Wu-bangers Raekwon, RZA, Method Man and Cappadonna, some of his boys from Theodore Unit including Shawn Wigs and Trife Da God, and a Rap legend you may have heard of named Slick Rick.
