Free Music Notes for The Revolution Will Not Be TelevisedFree Music Review: brillant Hit: 5 Starsthis is true rap.forget the so-called y2k which i know gil scott-herron would have a take on.this album showcases a great artist.arguble as important as bob dylan? a true lyrical poet.who is passionate about his subject matter.and isn't afraid to tell it like it is.and the music is right on time.this is a must have album.i agree this is the greatest rap album ever.
Free Music Review: the greatest rap album ever Hit: 5 Starsto say brillance ain't enough it's still to deep for narrow minds to understand.but with everything that's going on now it's even more powerful.the pain and concearn of a uncertain world around him makes for a true confession of the world around him.every rapper who has spoken out has got there trade from this man.some folks don't get whitey on the moon and never will.you feel history pouring outta this mans soul and upon listening you feel purity and clarity.it's as plain as the nose on your face.
Free Music Review: Hilarious! Hit: 5 StarsI heard pieces of this record on the Howard Stern radio program and was dying of laughter throughout. However, nothing matched the charm of "Whitey on the Moon," which is probably the most unintentionally riotous song ever released. Good stuff!
Free Music Review: Phophetic pre-cursor to rap and ghetto life. Hit: 5 StarsWhen listening to a record of such high quality it is easy to understand why many rap/hip-hop masters (KRS-one, P.E. etc.) often cite Gil Scott-Heron as a main influence of their work. After hearing this record just once it will provide you with a dimension of music that will always remain inside you!
