Free Music Review: A Masterpiece - not to be missed

Many others have written adoring reviews of this sadly neglected musical work, so I can't add much. "The Last Dance" is a great heartfelt song in the classic Gino Vanelli style, and like all the other pieces, it is a Vanelli original. Mostly a very classical styled collection, but not "opera" as some have said, more like power ballads with strings. (outstanding opera arias such as Nessun Dorma were surely an inspiration on this project.) "Parole Per Mio Padre" is the highlight - the music and Gino's soaring performance on that one is devastating and beautiful. Vanelli has maintained an active recording career since his last "hit" back in 1987, and all his albums have been great. This one is incredible.
