Free Music Notes for CrazyFree Music Review: Ain't crazy...it's soul... Hit: 5 StarsYou certainly ain't crazy liking this song. So much has been said of the collaboration between Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo and the resultant product from Gnarls Barkley.
First single, Crazy, was leaked a whole 6 months before the album was released. And therefore, created a big buzz over the song. Infectiously catchy and unquestionably soulful, Crazy is undoubtedly one of the year's best singles along with Thom Yorke's Harrowdown Hill. Cee-Lo's vocals possessed a pristine quality, firing the song into great heights.
It's one of the times when a collaboraton between two different artites that bears fruit this good.
Free Music Review: Awful Hit: 1 StarsI bought this song for "Crazy". I thought it would be representative of the rest of the CD. I also thought it was a regular length CD. I was wrong on both counts. The other SONG on the CD is garbage.
Free Music Review: Crazy - Gnarls Barkley Hit: 1 StarsIt's my own fault but beware there are only two songs on this disc. I feel like I got ripped off.
Free Music Review: Cool Track Hit: 3 StarsCee-Lo is getting more attention off this song than he has pretty much gotten through the majority of his career thus far. this song is catchy. it fit Cee-Lo's vocal stylings. this is clearly One of the Songs of the year. it's been played a bit too much, but it works on so many levels. catchy cut.
Free Music Review: It's Refreshing Hit: 4 StarsI can't remember the last time I heard such a soulful modern day song. It's probably been years since I did. "Crazy" stirs up my emotions, which is what a good soul song is supposed to do. The vocals are on point and I love the violin sounds, but the rest of the music could've been a *little* better.
