Free Music Notes for St. ElsewhereFree Music Review: I've got a monster in my closet Hit: 5 StarsAnd in the disk tray where I never want to remove it.
First saw Gnarls Barkley on an awards show, and been a fan ever since.
A great, great CD. Of course, I love the Boogie Monster, but also Crazy, Go-Go Gadget Gospel, Gone Daddy Gone (wow!), TRANSFORMER (double wow!) and storm coming. My advice: get it now.
Free Music Review: "She was cool when I met her, but I think I like her better dead." Hit: 5 StarsCee-lo, who I don't know much about, and Danger Mouse, who did the intriguing Grey Album, combine to form a band that isn't really hip-hop, but takes a lot of its best elements, adds in a distinctive, good voice and great, um... producing, and ends up making one of the best songs ever. No, really, "Crazy" is up there. It's just a good song. It's not the only one either, as every single track is at least catchy, and most are unique, well constructed, and truly interesting. I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone, but I enjoy the hell out of it.
Other great songs are "Smiley Faces", "Just a Thought", which is probably the most serious, the crazy "Transformer", and creepy-but-fun "Necromancer".
Free Music Review: pleasant and unusual Hit: 4 StarsI like this CD because the music is so different but you don't mind listening to it. Of course, the best song is "Crazy", but the whole CD is worth a try.
Free Music Review: Not Crazzy, but solid Hit: 4 StarsDon't expect every song to be like crazy. they are a lot more varied than that, but still very good.
Free Music Review: Imagination Hit: 5 StarsGnarls Barkley (Cee-lo) has done it again. This is the greatest 40 minutes of music I have yet to hear from someone as unique as he. This is one for the lover of music, a classic.
Best Track: 9- Transformer
