Free Music Review: There's nothing like GOBLIN in this world

This is an absolutely wonderful collection. It is basically a GREATEST HITS of Goblin and honestly, for anyone who has no idea what to expect from Goblin, you would be best off buying this collection before anything else.
You get some of their best non-movie-soundtrack songs such as "Dr. Frankenstein" and "Snip Snap" as well as all the movie themes and songs that made them so well known, like "Profondo Rosso", "Suspiria", and "Connexion" to name a few.
I've never heard any band creating such a dark sound with prog. The chemistry between the band members must have been natural and absolutely flawless as the work together between the bass, drums, and keyboards are nothing short of mind-blowing.
Ever since I got a hold of this, I have not stopped listening to it on regular rotation, and I believe it will be a while until I give it a rest. There is nothing else quite like GOBLIN in the world of music and there probably never will be again.

2007 compilation of film music by the Italian Prog band. An outstanding Progressive Rock group in their own right, Goblin?s name is synonymous with the cinema of Dario Argento, the director of stylized Italian horror. For him they composed such celebrated scores as Dawn Of The Dead (AKA as Zombi) ?Profondo Rosso?, that starred David Hemmings and which provided the group with a number one hit and the hallucinatory ?Suspiria?, which recalls early Can and the free-form improvisations of Amon Duul II and Popul Vuh. Goblin?s music is astoundingly effective both as Rock and in the context of the films and is internationally celebrated as such.
