Free Music Review: FACELESS: The album other bands tried to be

Godsmack's newest album FACELESS takes them back to their roots. They have that hard sound complete with killer riffs and beatiful drumming by newest member Shannon Larkin formly of Amen.Sully Erna leads the group with a more developed voice that cuts through metal. The band is destined to be the next Metallica (Of course im talking about the pre-selling out years). This is by far the best cd to come out in a long time. The guitar solos are well timed and cut perfectly with the flow of each song. There is even an acoustic guitar present on this album. This shows that Godsmack isn't afraid of experimenting. Badass cd from a badass band. Go get it now. It's the album for which all of rock standards will be put against.

This cd is the best! I like rock and heavy metal, and Godsmack, I wouldnt say is heavy metal but it has more of a hard rock sound to it. Godsmack have come out with 3 cds in the past, and although they were all very good, this one is OUTSTANDING! The lead singer has such a husky voice, and a very good one at that, and you can tell by listening to the intro's that the band has talent. The songs they sing all have MEANING, even though some of the songs oculd be LONGER, the lyrics are fabulous and the band is just...well....gobsmacking! :) I love it, especially since I'm a big fan of disturbed and staind and all that, Godsmack is deifinatley the cd you want when you just wanna rock out and listen to some AWESOME HARD ROCK!Free Music Review: WANTING TO FINALY HEAR SOME MUSIC THAT ROCKS.

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT FACELESS. WOW. THESE GUYS CAN ONLY GO UP.THIS ALBUM REALLY ROCKS. MOST OF THE SONGS ON THIS ALBUM HAVE TOUCH SO MANY EMOITIONS . WHEN I FIRST HEARD GODSMACK MY FAVORITE WAS OZZY. HAD BEEN SINCE THE THIRD GRADE. ALL IT TOOK FOR ME WAS TO HEAR MOONBABY AND THAT WAS IT. BEEN HOOKED EVERY SINCE. WITH THE RELEASE OF FACELESS IT JUST SHOWS WHAT MAGNATUDE THIS BAND CAN DO. IF YOU HAVENT HEARD THIS ALBUM THEN YOUR MISSING OUT. GODSMACK IS ON THERE WAY TO BEING THE BELT HOLDERS. THEY MAY FEEL FACELESS NOW, BUT IN THE END THEY WILL STAND TALL. SO IF YOUR LOOKING FOR SOME KICK A@# MUSIC. THEN YOU WOULD TO GET FACELESS. OH AND LOOK FOR THE SPECIAL BONUS TRACK ON THE CD. THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY.
Free Music Review: Godsmack Faceless, True to Godsmack form

Godsmack's Faceless is reminiscent and true to form of their past two releases. Although not as angry as their debut the band is playing better/tighter as a group and their musicianship is improving with time.Highlights include Changes, Releasing the Demons, I Stand Alone, and Dead and Broken. Serenity grows on you with time as does the entire release. Probably deeper in terms of entire quality than Awake, but lacks that one killer tune that just kicks your a** after each take. Also, the album is only 47 minutes long although very little can be considered "filler". If you are a Godsmack fan this release will fit in well with your tastes, if you are a ... bubble gummer keep on looking somewhere else.

Faceless is my first taste of Godsmack, and I have to say, I love everything on this cd. I don't understand all the bad rap about this disc. No, I haven't listened to the previous Godsmack cd's yet, but if you like hard- hitting, can't sit still, in your face rock then you should love this disc. Yea, a few of the intros sound the same, but this cd rocks hard, just how I like it. And Sully Erna's voice, damn, he makes me want to @$#%$%. Anyway, I love it, I could give a flying f*** if it sounds the same, it delivers. I don't like soft or mellow rock, boring. I like it heavy, to hit hard, and be little bit dangerous. Faceless satisfies my heavy hitting rock hunger. I can't wait for the next Godsmack masterpiece.
