Free Music Notes for FacelessFree Music Review: PURE HARD ROCK! Hit: 5 Stars
This is why you buy that ..., decked out, system for your car! Godsmack welcomes all to be beaten down with their 2003 release, FACELESS. "Straight Out of Line" introduces us into a war-zone as we prepare to jump into the fury that Godsmack had laid down of the 12 track album[Ed. This is where you should crank up that the bass, and have a subwoofer at least 3 feet away from your body]. Like clock-work; the beats rumbling off Shannons drums, the drilling-cuts of Tonys guitar, the hollowing rips that come from Robbies bass, all seem to come together with the thundering vocals only Sully could produce.[Ed. Speaking of production, Sully also co-produced Faceless with David Bottrill] If afraid that Godsmack has changed thier style, DON'T BE!!! This album is so hard hitting it loosens up the toenails and rattles the fillings in the mouth. As new themes arise through out Faceless, the beats do not stop pounding. Faceless captures Godsmacks energy, and makes you panting for more.[Ed. If part of The VoodooTribe, by the way is the BEST F'N FANCLUB IN THE WORLD, you can access 3 bonus live tracks and lyrics from Faceless]. Buy this album!!! Buy it if you need something new to listen to. Buy it if you want to be enlightened, buy it if your'e a fan. But since youre reading this, youre probably already a fan and had already bought it... well buy it AGAIN!!!!!! I got three copies PEACE -keep on smackin'-

Free Music Review: A Facefull from Faceless! Hit: 5 Stars
I've been a fan of Godsmack since '98 and this album is heavier than the other two. Godsmack took alot of time to write and record the album, but their hard work and efforts make it damn well worth it. I couldn't stop listening to this. The music is great. It is hard for me to choose a favorite song from this album because they all have a special unique feel to them. Like Sully singing in "Releasing The Demons" the verses are so neat the way he does it and in "Faceless" and "Changes" the chorus in these songs are really catchy. Tony's solos still kick .... Robbie is great on bass. The new drummer, Shannon Larkin, can REALLY play drums as great like Tommy. Sully hates to be lied to and his lyrics and angry voice lets you know it in "I F*cking Hate You" and "Straight Out of Line" (which I think alot of people may have heard it several times on the radio.) "Serenity" (which was influenced by the drummer of Rush.) is this album's cultural song and just like "The Spiral" is different from "Voodoo" this is different from both of them. This is performed with an acoustic guitar instead of an electric, which sounds awesome. "The Awakening" is like an African Tribal style of music with just drumming and chanting only. Godsmack really did a great job on this album. Words cannot explain this album... Anybody who likes metal can enjoy this. GET THIS!!! I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO THIS ALL DAY!

Free Music Review: Godsmack = Power, Presence, & Potential Hit: 5 Stars
One of the most aggressive bands to bring it from the NorthEast. Faceless, their follow up to the amazingly successful "AWAKE" release, is every bit as heavy and aggressive as we have come to expect from Godsmack. The first 2 songs on the Faceless CD: "Straight out of Line" and "Faceless" just rip! The kind of ferocity that gets your blood pumping. The rest of the CD rocks too... Godsmack is not a one-hit wonder band... they keep it coming hard and heavy throughout the whole CD. Serenity is a tune similar to "Voodoo" from their first release. This song is every bit as mysterious as Voodoo, yet has its own feel that Godsmack fans have grown to appreciate. Godsmack should not go "Faceless" any longer... for the people who have not associated Godsmack as a definitive Hard-Rock presence in the music industry surely will after this latest release. This CD is the best CD I have bought in a long time... I can listen to it repeatedly without feeling that the music gets played out too soon. Heavy Riffs that make you want to grab a guitar and rip it up, Aggressive Lyrics that make you glad you kicked that lyin' chick to the curb, and the methodical drumlins that make your head twitch forward and back repeatedly. A must buy CD for sure! You won't be disappointed... Godsmack delivers the heavy fix!
