Free Music Notes for FacelessFree Music Review: Be prepared to be 5 Stars
This disc rocks hard and is my favorite out of the 4. I can't believe all the bad reviews from people. Calling them ripoffs of Alice In Chains, BLAH! Every song and disc sounding the same, BLAH! For starters get over it, AIC is no longer anymore, yes they were good but, GET OVER IT! As for sounding the same, geez let's all hope they release a Hip Hop cd next time so they have some diversity LMFGDAO. Look at the group Tool, how many bands out there sound like those guys? God, I can think of atleast 3 of them off hand. Anyways this disc delivers great heavy rock with great vocals, from the hard-rocking starter "Straight Out Of Line" to the more mellow closer "Serenity." There really isn't a bad song on this disc. I'd highly recommend this Godsmack or any of their releases to anyone who loves hard rocking tunes like I do. Don't listen to all the bad reviews on here, pick it up and see what you think of it yourself. Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.
My fav. tracks= Straight Out Of Line, Faceless, Re-Align, Serenity
Free Music Review: Godsmack's Third Album Hit: 5 Stars
With their third release, Godsmack really shines, harder and better than ever before. A strong, radio-ready hit opens the album with "Straight Out of Line". Godsmack continues the energy rise with the next two tracks, "Faceless", and "Changes". And perhaps the most powerful song they've ever recorded comes into play at #5, "I Stand Alone", in my opinion, one of the best heavy rock songs ever recorded. They continue the awesome song trend with "Re-Align", a softer side where the lyrics absolutely shine. Next, a throwback to their debut with "I F*****g Hate You", an angry song that bristles with tension and malice. Another stand-out is "I Am", in which lead singer Sully Erna declares "death will come when i'm good and God d**n ready". And Godsmack does it again with the melodic, almost tribal "Serenity", where the chanting chorus can make your heart pump with intensity. Overall, this is their best record yet and an excellent purchase. This album apppeals to all rock fans who love quality music. An awesome album.
Free Music Review: Reaching The Top Hit: 5 Stars
You thought you'd never see the day when a rock/metal band fronted by Sully Erna would ever make it to the top. Well, things have changed, their new release "Faceless" has proven to the world that they could do it. Ever since their first hit off the cd "Straight Out of Line" came out, people everywhere have been requesting Godsmack. Also, with the help of having their song, "I Stand Alone" on the Scorpion King Soundtrack(also on Faceless), their faces have been everywhere. With Sully's strong vocals, Robbie's intense bass playing, Tony's electrifying guitar riffs, and new comer Shannon as their awesome drummer, that's what makes this the best cd to hit stores in years. The whole thing begins with Sully expressing himself with "Straight Out of Line." Lasting through out the whole thing, you can feel what the lyrics are saying. Then ending with the rhythmic beating of the tribal drums in "Serenity." This has by far been their best release in years.
Free Music Review: Faceless No More Hit: 5 Stars
Godsmack is an awsome band that hails from the state of Boston. This forsome is made up Sully, Tony, Robbie and Shannon. The band's song "Straight Out Of Line" is a hard hitting in your face masterpiece. Faceless is full of heavy riffs that are sure to hold your attention. The tribal beats that were used in this cd was a great way to set up the last song "Serenity". Serenity is an easy going song that lets your mind rejuvinate. If you aren't sure if you will like it, listen to the songs "Straight Out Of Line" and "Serenity". I guarantee that you WIll NOT be disappointed. Godsmack's frontman Sully Erna is not just a great vocalist, he truly cares about the band's fans. He goes out of his way to make sure that everyone can afford to buy their cd's and concert tickets. To me, this band knows what is takes to be truly great. Their new cd was well worth the wait and money. So, go out and buy this cd and rest assured that you have made a good decision.
Free Music Review: Sick And Tired Hit: 5 Stars
I am sick and tired of all these narrow minded people who dont know what the hell thy're talking about...This is a great album. well worth the money, and a worthwhile investment. I cant believe people say Sully's trying to sound like Layne. They sound NOTHING alike.... SO because Layne sang about addiction no one else can??? how does that work??? People say they ripped off the name.... Hey, maybe it was meant to be a TRIBUTE!!!! ever think about that??? And lastly, I am a big AIC fan, but why does everyone make Layne out to be a god...what, because he died? just like Cobain..why does everyone idolize a friggin DRUG ADDICT???? I like their music but he did it to himself. Plenty of other people had bad childhoods (Jerry Cantrell of the same band) and are still alive. They didnt take the pussy way out, they dealt with their problems. SO stop judging this band as someone else and judge them on their own merits. 5 star album 5 star band. If someone else doesnt like it....hit the stop button
