Free Music Review: never thought this could happen!

over the years, many good hard rocking bands have risen to give us a dose of heaviness in a time of blandness. but those bands usualy fall as fast as they appear. not so with godsmack. their first album was strong, and catchy, but many were quick to label them as a temporary act, going to dissapear tomorrow. then awake came, even heavier and catchier. and now, faceless. the best thing i can say about faceless is this...up untill the realease of faceless, master of puppets has been my all time favorite cd. i never dreamed it possible that a cd could come along that would grip me, entertain me, and leave me begging for more. but godsmack have done so. now all the metallica fans are gonna hate me, and say godsmack ripped off metallica, whatever! godsmack has a sound that is unique to them, and though you can compare them to other bands, one thing you cant do is call them rip offs. this cd has been in my player since it came out, and will stay there for a long timeFree Music Review: they continue to rock

The reason I feel so strong about all three of godsmacks albums is the fact that they have'nt changed anything, and with the new album faceless they did it again. This album is all hard, dark, and just plain rocken, I listened to the album and realized a lot of these songs i can actually relate to, and im pretty sure that many other listeners feel the same way. Also this album rocks hard just like the other albums if not harder, hard drum beats, with even harder solos and rifts, and some extreamly dark and deep volcals, you can't go wrong with the purchasing of this album. And the song Serinity, it's just another way godsmack is keeping with the voodoo tradition. Now if you haven't obtained this album yet i urge you to go out and do so now, this album is perfect for any metal fan. And for the rest of you godsmack fans, i'm sure you feel the same way when i say,"i can't wait to see what they come up with next."Free Music Review: The Entire Thing's a Great CD

I went to Godsmack's show when they were on their tour promoting "Faceless." I had never been a big Godsmack fan, but I decided to check them out anyway. They played almost every single song on the CD and the next day I ran out and bought it. This is one of the few albums out there that you can stick in your CD player and listen to all of the way through. The best songs on the CD are "Straight Out of Line", "Faceless", "Changes", "Re-Align", and "Releasing the Demons". The band's new drummer definitely adds a punch that was lacking in some of their earlier music. If you are a longtime Godsmack fan, stop reading this review right now and click the "purchase" button at the top of the page. Even if you are not a huge fan, but you still love hard rock and metal, BUY THIS CD. P.S. If you ever have a chance to see Godsmack in concert, take the opporotunity.

who gives a flying flip whether or not it's repitive?...can you think of anything better to say about this album?...cuz if you can't, then you have no sense of musicality, and I praise those who like this band, ;cuz this album is spectacular at best. I loved "Awake" and I Still do...now, this album and the "Changes" DVD kick so much rear, it isn't even funny..
great music, wonderful singing by Sully Erna, great-as-heck drumming by Shannon Larkin (one of my prime reasons for this album...great music...listen to it and decide for yourself, but for me?...i love it, so give it try...i'm sure glad I did
and for those that say bands like "Mushroomhead", "In flames", and (***om my god***)...(***commence tossing cookies***) NAPALM DEATH!!...are better...go shove yur face in a litter box, cuz they are just noise...just meaningless, musicless noise...and that...pretty much sums it up...

The familiar sound that is Godsmack, along with the new added energy of drummer Shannon Larkin meld perfectly to create Godsmack's best effort yet...With Sully's aggressive and addictive vocals, to Shannon's strong in your face beats, this cd is the Total Package! The Lineup of tracks is amazing with songs like I F*cking Hate You and Dead and Broken that contain a graceful rage that only Sully Erna can deliver. Also on this cd is a truly mesmerizing end track entitled Serenity that overflows with tribal beats and haunting vocals and harmonies. Serenity is to Faceless as Voodoo is to Godsmack and Spiral is to Awake...a Godsmack trademark! This cd is a MUST have for your Godsmack collection, or the perfect starter...this is a cd you can listen to from beginning to end, something you can't do with most of what's out there...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
