Free Music Review: They're baaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaack!
Hit: 5 Stars

"Faceless" is the most recent album cranked out by the ever-evolving band Godsmack. Sully Erna by far has written his best songs for this album. There isn't one song that is bad. Each is as good as the previous song. "Faceless" also features, Scorpian King hit "I Stand Alone". To pick a "best" song from this disc, is quite difficult. However, "Serenity" and "Re-Align" rank righ up there. "Serenity" shows off Erna's heart and soul. The anger is still there that Godsmack fans have come to expect with the song "I F***ing hate you" but yet, Sully doesn't have much to be angry about these days. The band as whole has gelled together and this is one of the tightest sounding disc's from any band that this reviewer has heard in a long time. Godsmack shows you that even in darkness there is light.
Buy this disc, you won't regret it.

Free Music Review: Just what was expected
Hit: 5 Stars

Godsmack continues to progress toward the sound of Metallica and away from the sounds of their contemporaries. Their sound has barely changed, but their formula still works, so there's no reason for them to. Some say all Godsmack songs sound the same, but they're all good, so what's the problem? "Re-Align" does bring back memories of "Keep Away" and "I Am" of "Forgive Me" and "Make Me Believe" of "Vampires", but they're all Killer tracks. "Changes" is the best song on the record, while the interlude "The Awakening" has no purpose, in my opinion. "Serenity" is an awesome acoustic song with a heavy dose of tribal rhythms and there's nothing wrong with that. Godsmack is the AC/DC of today, they've found a formula that works and they're sticking with it.

Free Music Review: Keep the roots going it never fails in todays music
Hit: 5 Stars

people who down Godsmack for keeping to their roots are saying hey i love this talentless new age linkin park.... i'm glad Godsmack Is staying to thier grindcore grunge metal style now if only Staind would ruturn to their dysfunction roots like Godsmack keeps to their debut album then nu metal would have some music worth hearing. Voodoo from their debut album i stil listen to as if it just came out so for Godsmack to make new songs with similiar sounds is just music to my ears to me . i'm glad they stuck to thier roots don't change if you can help it conform if you have to but keep the roots of your music intact while doing so standouts in this album are I stand alone and their self titled faceless song. Get this album if you love mainstream rocks heros the ones who make mainstream worth listening to. Good Job keep up the good work

Free Music Review: Faceless reveiw
Hit: 5 Stars

Faceless is the brand-new album from Godsmack. As soon as you switch it on to hear the sounds of batlle commencing, you know your onto something special. "straight out of line" really does show how mutch Godsmack have refined their sound, and with the added skill and power of Shannon Larkins drumming, they really have started something. four songs in, four guitar solos in, and it just gets better. Their is an unrefined beauty to "i f*cking hate you" that really sends a shiver down your spine. Sully's vouce really has reached its peak, and he can really cut the line between haunting and downright nasty. Things slow down towards the end with the haunting "serenity". all in all, all the tracks stand out in their own way, and if you like no-frills heavy rock then this will be the album for you.

Free Music Review: New Heavy Metal Thunder From the Boys of Boston
Hit: 5 Stars

Godsmack's new album faceless is a brilliant addition to their already vicious catalog. The first single, "Straight out of Line" is a killer song aimed at friends of the band who just dont get it. This could very possibly be the finest effort yet by the boys from Boston. With songs like "Make Me Believe", "Release the Demons", and "I am", Godsmack shoves a fistful of metal right down your throat as only they can. The final track, "Serenity", lays down a solid groove in fasion with other Godsmack greats like "Vodoo" and "Spiral". Basically this is a great new album, and definetly something that any metal head can be proud to hang their head to. So I suggest going out and picking this one up today
