Free Music Review: One of Godsmack's best albums

I love Godsmack and this just made them all the better for me my Favorite songs were Moon Baby Whatever Keep Away Get up, Get Out and Voodoo. After Voodoo there is 2 minutes of silence and then a Someone in London like instrumental plays called Witch Hunt which I thought was cool. If you were like me and heard Cryin Like a Bitch, bought The Oracle loved the CD and is planning on buying this one, you will not be disappointed.

The first song I heard by Godsmack was Voodoo. My friend told me that she could not get enough of this song and I had to hear it. I've been hooked on their music ever since. Before I heard Godsmack I'd been unsuccsessfully searching for something new to really rock out to. This album satisfies. "Keep Away" is my current favorite song off their album. Very good for kickboxing and getting out the aggression. Every element of Godsmack's music (the growling voice, the strong drums and bass line, the crunchy guitar licks) comes together to highten the listening experience and really grabs you. I like Alice in Chains and White Zombie, and yes Godsmack is similar in the sense that they play the same type of music, but so does STP, Pearl Jam, Metallica, etc. The thought never crossed my mind that Godsmack is a rip off of those bands. They have their own sound and I look forward to hearing how it develops. I highly reccomend buying this album!Free Music Review: Better than some peeps think & is not like AIC!!!!!

U know I am just not following all u "rock fans" when u say GODSMACK is sounds like AIC. Everyone Godsmack doesn't sound like AIC and Godsmack is a much better band. W/ all the hype on saying they sound like AIC I thought I would buy AIC album and I got DIRT. Good c.d not great. Godsmack's album is much more hard core and angry and great 2 listen 2 after u have had a bad day at work. Folks that is my intelligent review of the sound qualities of AIC and Godsmack. I am not saying "Godsmack sux and AIC rulz" unlike some reviewers. So do ur self a favor and buy this c.d. This c.d. is much better than the current "rock" we have been served (LB, KoRn, and Orgy). No disrespect 2 those bands I think they kick a$$ 2. But Godsmack BEATS A$$. Not only is the music cool but each song as a differnt texture 2 it and the songs don't sound the same. what can you say about godsmack's debut album? i say-perfection. this album is packed with well-executed songs that just keep coming at you, from "moon baby" to the haunting "voodoo"- no filler whastsoever. The songs get stuck in your head without feeling over-produced or too "catchy"- it's solid, new (not nu) metal. They're not ground-breaking but very much distinct and stand on their own (no pun intended). Definately buy this album if you're into some hard-hitting music that doesn't get too repetitive. The raw emotion going into each song, combined with sully's (lead singer)wiccan influences give this album tribal undertones. I definatley favor this to their follow-up "awake", which was good, but it didn't seem to have the same energy as this one. This album is truly one of the best to come out in the past ten years.Free Music Review: i'm about to out myself.

i am married, her name, my wife, is Regina. so flunk that. i am eminem, i am the bass player for chevelle, i am Batman, and i am The Joker. and my all time favorite band in the face of existence, is GODSMACK. they do it all themselfs. i can't wait to they release, their freak on a leach. voodoo voodoo. all on their own, nevermisunderstandthem. they are doing the best, and no rock band is greater. when you guys going to drop the please i need a fix.
