this is my favorite cd. these guys are true to hard rock. everysong kicks &*^. its tough yet has a clean edge to it. if you like "whatever" on the radio, you'll like the other songs even better. and the best thing about this band is that theyre pure. not like korn or orgy who are total sell outs on mtv. Godsmack is true to form and they always will be. if you like alice and chains, or tool, get this. Im not saying that godsmack copies them, they have a sound of their own, its just in the genre of those bands. so get this cd, and mtv, you suck!Free Music Review: Have you been smacked yet?

Yes it's true that Godsmack's influence spectrum is vast, but this foursome probably listened to these influential greats (Metallica, Alice in chains etc.) and created their own bigger and better sound to become gods of their own rage-energetic realm. This sound is alive. Not even to talk about Sully's well balanced voice seamlessly integrating with Tony's aggressive and rhythm-hungry six stringer. Their lyrics adds a further spark to the already rock solid sound. This CD has attitude written all over it. Sully, Robbie, Tony and Tommy...we salute you.Free Music Review: Extreme talent!

This CD is my favorite CD of all time. Godsmack plays music from the heart. They are not sellouts just because they put music videos on MTV. The songs have the greatest beat in the world, the guitars bring real crushing, mad, rythms, while the drums are crashing! The bass really kicks in while Sully (the singer) is singing one second, then screaming. This CD is for hard rock lovers. Anyone that thinks these guys are selllouts, or copy cats, are idiots. Because Godsmack is a band with extreme talent and they play from the heart.Free Music Review: this rocks

what more can you say. i lsten to godsmack the longest. i' ve been there since the begining. half the fan most likely don't know godsmack has been around for over 3 years. whenever i hear Scully, i get a rush of adreniline throughout my body. Tony, Robbie and Tommy are perfect compliments to Scully. if you don't own this album, shame on you. this is the best band in the workd. buy the cd 3 or 4 times if you want, it's worth it. let's tke this cd to number one. let's take a blast to the moon Music Review: My vote for album, new artist of the year

What can I say, only that anyone with any kind of taste for real music should have this cd. From start to finish, this album clearly smokes. From the way Sully's voice grabs your attention, to the harmony of Robbie's thunderous bass guitar and Tommy's dead awakening drumming, and I can't forget Tony's devilishly killer guitar, move over alice in chains,(sellout)Metallica, there's a new king on the mountain.And if you ever get a chance to see Godsmack live, drop everything and go. They should not be missed for the world.
