Free Music Notes for IVFree Music Review: Grandslam Homerun Out of Fenway!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Well, they've done it again! I was sceptical that this album would be able to be as good as Faceless. But, as usual, Sully and the guys proved me wrong, making an album that only gets better the more and more I listen to it. The deal was sealed once I saw them live! The lyrics are more pure, the songs with the right amount of kick, not much but not too little, and they even have what could be considered a ballad and it even rocks, in Hollow, which also happens to be one of the best songs on the CD. Sully's vocals are pure, Tony's guitars along with Robbie's bass kick, and of course Shannon's solid drumming make this album one of the years best! Shannon's skills behind the skins are some of the best I've seen, since Neil Peart, and then when you combine his with Sully's, HOLY SHNIKES!!!! Good Job Guys, Keep Um Coming!!!!
Free Music Review: Evolution at it's finest!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I am a huge Godsmack fan and i have been since the day i heard their very first single bad religion on the best rock station in cali known as 98 rock!!! When i heard speak i was lovin it immedietly but i started to read some reviews that this cd was going to be alot different then their other cd's!!! Ya it's true this cd has a blues rock edge to it and i loved every last second of this cd. From songs like speak and livin in sin to my favorite on the cd called Shine Down. Anyone hating on this cd will only hate it because Godsmack like so many other bands in the genre as well as any other did not stick to the same formula they reached out for a change and nailed it. Don't listen to those who tell you it sucks because from a die hard fan i still love this album just as much as the self titled debut!!!
Free Music Review: Combination of New and Old Godsmack Hit: 5 Stars
On the lastest cd, Godsmack chooses to wrap all three of their previous albums, along with 2004's acoustic "The Other Side" and make one cd that would harness the power of all four into one album. Two sequels from 1998's "Godsmack" are to be found in "The Enemy" and "Voodoo Too." Both of these are awesome tracks. You also get to see some of "Awake" and "Faceless" in tracks such as "Speak", "No Rest For The Wicked", and "Temptation". Again, these three tracks are excellent. Also, you get to be taken into the softer side of Godsmack with "Hollow" and "One Rainy Day". These are also great songs. Overall, you will get to see Godsmack through the years and what you get is an awesome cd that will have you on the edge of your seat for the next album. This is a great choice. GET IT!!!
Free Music Review: Album should be called "I", for best album yet. Hit: 5 Stars
i've been a godsmack fan since their first release "whatever". this album definitely has a different sound, maybe with the guitars and drums, but it's still quality hard-rock godsmack style music. This is one of few rock cd's i can listen to from track 1 to track 11(or 12 if u count the hidden song entitled "Safe and Sound", which can be found 11 minutes into "one rainy day")Sully's one of a kind voice can be heard on every song especially "shine down" and "the enemy". if you've been a godsmack fan since day one, this album might dissapoint u at first but you'll eventually grow into it and eventually you will love it. if you're just getting into godsmack then it will be like any other rock album you buy for one or two radio songs. Keep Rocking Loud and Hard!!
Free Music Review: Still my favorite band 5 Stars
Godsmack fan since day 1 and still am. I have seen them in concert twice and can't wait to see em again. For those who say they don't change and it all sounds the same can take a spoon and eat my a$$. I'm an AC/DC fan and most of theres sound the same. And for the reviewer that says wait for Pearl Jam!!!! Who the hell are they. Talk about bubblegum rock! And another thing, AIC was awesome so what if you say these guys are wannabe AIC'ers. Who gives a $hit. If it sounds good then turn it up and let Sully wail and enjoy it. This album is awesome and on song 11 - One Rainy Day the song ends (or the raindrops) at about 7:10, it picks up again at 12:27 so fast forward or let the song roll until that mark. Godsmack is the $hit!!!!!!Buy this.
