Free Music Notes for IVFree Music Review: Quality release Hit: 4 StarsAnyone that says these guys are the best band on the planet must have about 10 cd's, 5 being Godsmack and the rest being New Kids On The Block!!! Hey, these guys are pretty cool, but in the scheme of things, I could think of 200 better bands in 10 seconds.
This is probably their best all round effort to date. I have all of Godsmacks releases, along with about 1000 other cd's. This ain't bad. Tracks like 'Livin In Sin, Speak, The Enemy, No Rest For The Wicked', this is a quality album for new style metalish type music.
Don't be fooled by advertising, this ain't REAL metal, it is hard rock, and it is pretty good. I've said it before, and I say it again, it don't have to be heavy to be good, I want substance, and this has a fair bit of it. Godsmack have definately improved over time. My preferance is REAL metal like Slayer, Dimmu Borgir, Etc.. I could go on, but I will give anything a go and judge it fairly. This is pretty good.
Bang your head and enjoy a band on the rise
Free Music Review: Musical Mauturity Hit: 5 StarsI have been listening to several different Godsmack cd's lately. This maybe there most musically mature to date. No its not as raw and other cds but it is very good. It should be judged for itself. "Shine Down", "The Enemy", "Hollow" are probably the most diverse...
Free Music Review: AWESOME! Hit: 5 StarsEvery song on this album is great. Some are more mellow, some are hard, some are in between. It shows their diversity and talent. Highlights: Shine Down (Kinda religious surprisingly), Speak, The Enemy, Bleeding Me, (and I don't care what everyone says), Livin in Sin.
Free Music Review: BEST Hit: 5 StarsWhat can I say? Only that this is best band on the planet!
Free Music Review: Rockin' with Godsmack Hit: 5 StarsI really enjoyed this album. It is as diverse as it is good old Godsmack. You can put this CD on and not have to worry about having to skip past a bad song. I enjoyed this album as much as the first album.
