I've always been just a marginal fan of Godsmack, but this cd surprised me. The first three songs kick you in the ass, and, is it just me, but the last four or five minutes of "One Rainy Night" sound like they were channeling Tool? Godsmack is a great band!!! One of the last real rock bands of this NEW (not NU) generation.Free Music Review: return to form

Well, after the dissapointing critical and buyer response to their previous album, "Faceless" it looks like Sully Erna and co. are finally back in tip top shape, kicking out the heavier jams than they did with their previous effort. I, for one, am glad.
Favorite songs: "Speak," "The Enemy," "Temptation," "Momma"

Definitely different from their other work, but very cool. Every song has it's own identity and gives every Godsmack fan a taste of everything likeable about the band. Only downside I can see is they should have added 2 or 3 more songs since the album took a while to release. Get it while it's Music Review: AWESOME!Hit: 5 Stars Every song on this album is great. Some are more mellow, some are hard, some are in between. It shows their diversity and talent. Highlights: Shine Down (Kinda religious surprisingly), Speak, The Enemy, Bleeding Me, (and I don't care what everyone says), Livin in Sin.

In a time when all the no talent wigger poser (bent over for MTV and like it) bands get all the glory it's refreshing to hear bands with the newer metal sound that still respect true metal tradition. To Godsmack I give the thumbs up! To the wiggers I give the finger!
