Free Music Review: cool
Hit: 5 Stars

alright, i heard of these guys a few years back, but never thought much about it. this year i met a girl who had transefered form another school, and started talking to her, and she told me her favorite band was good charlotte. i remembered hearing about them, and so i decided to check them out. i downloaded 'little things' first.it was awesome, so i downloaded some other songs; they were awesome too.i went out and bought both their cds not much longer after that, and loved them. my best friend came over and listened to them, and now she is obsessed with them. i'll give you a review of each song real quick-
1.little things-5/5, awesome song. cool video.
2.waldorfworldwide-5/5 i didnt like this song that much at first, but now its one of my favs.
3.motivation proclamation-5/5 another awesome song, though slower. another good video.
4.east coast anthem-4/5
5.festical song-5/5 another cool single, another cool video.
6.complicated-4.5/5
7.seasons-4.5/5 another slower song, cool.

8.i dont wanna stop-4/5
9.i heard you-4.5/5 didnt like this one that much at first, but now i love it.
10.the click-4.5/5 same as song 9. this was the theme song for the show the undergrads.
11.walk by- alright, but one of the two worst on the cd. 3.5/5
12.let me go-the other worst song on this cd. i always forget about this one. 3.5/5
13.screamer-4.5/5 another one that grew on me. take out the light, start screamin! love that part.
14.change- 4/5 prolly the slowest song, but still good.
this has a hidden track at the end. its pretty good. its a song thanking benji and joel's mother. hence the title 'thank you mom'
overall, i really good cd for any punk-pop collection. or punk-rock. however you wanna classify these guys! i hate classifications. i dont really care about those, as long as i like the songs, who cares what kind of music it is?
anyway, i recommend this cd to people who like sum 41, simple plan, etc. you wont be sorry.

Free Music Review: Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

Good Charlotte is an excellent band. People don't understand them though, their music isn't limited to just one style. The thing that rocks about GC's music is that they cover so many different styles of music, and they do it all with emotion, passion, and aggression. Unlike alot of other pop-punk bands, GC's songs don't all sound the same. Also GC's songs aren't all redundant love songs and they don't have un-sincere lyrics like SOME bands out there (:::*cough SIMPLE PLAN *cough:::). Little Things is like Blink-182 meets The Beastie Boys with Nirvana type lyrics. Waldorfworldwide is a sweet ska/reggae type song, think Sublime meets Blink-182. Motivation Proclimation is a mid-paced rock song, think Third Eye Blind meets Green Day, great solo in this song too. East Coast Anthem is a punkish song that sounds like Rancid or The Clash but with East coast flavored lyrics. Festival Song sounds like a Green Day song. Complicated is yet another ska/reggae type song that sounds like Sublime, but the lyrics are about the twin's father which adds an interesting and personal twist to the song. Seasons starts off as an acoustic ballad, but then leads into a rock song, its basically an emo song. I Don't Wanna Stop is probably the weakest track, but its still okay, reminds me of New Found Glory a little bit. I Heard You is another song for social outcasts and its a really fast song. The Click is a good Blink-182ish song with cool guitar riffs and great lyrics. Walk By sounds like an old school Aerosmith or Zeppelin song at the beginning, but then goes back to sounding like a GC song. Let Me Go is a cool song with a great bass intro. Screamer is kind of like Motivation Proclimation but with a riff that reminds one of Gun's N Roses's "Sweet Child O Mine". Change is a pop ballad that would make a good slow dance. Ignore the haters, they only hate for a few reasons which are:
1. The band's image
2. GC's fanbase
3. GC's popularity
Rock on.

LITTLE THINGS- 5/5- Little things make everybody who they are, whether they're good or not (<3 this song)
WALDORFWORLDWIDE- 5/5- Life will be ok... we all have needs and wants
THE MOTIVATION PROCLAMATION-5/5- Sometimes we all have to wake up
EAST COAST ANTHEM- 2/5-Great message...(can't always change peoples' minds), but I just don't like how the song goes
FESTIVAL SONG- 4/5- About mortoidal[crowd follower type] people telling others how to live
COMPLICATED-5/5-About the twins' dad...hate/love situation
SEASONS-3/5-Everything reminds us of ones that we love, but they don't feel the same.
I DON'T WANNA STOP-5/5 OMG this is totally me...After listening to this song a few times, it finally clicked
I HEARD YOU-5/5-Like one of those movies w/ the cheerleader+jock couple and they torture all the nerds
THE CLICK5-5/5 (should be spelled:'the clique', but that's not my say) anyway, about the popular folks and the [unpopular people]...realizing that they don't need to be popular to live life
WALK BY-2/5-again, gr8 lyrics, but i just don't like the song... about fallin' in love w/ a devil chick
LET ME GO-2/5-I haven't listened to this song all the way through
don't like it much... i think it's about them making their own decisions
SCREAMER-4/5-i have no idea what they are talking about when they say "take out the light, start screamin'" so...yeah...
CHANGE-5/5- again, this is a michael song, he was all i thought about and he kept me wondering
*Thank you, mom-3/5-gr8 message, never listened to the whole thing, because after 'change' ends, i always forget that this is after it (about the twins' mom, being there for them and being the dad they never had...etc...)
Great C.D. if you have a brain, you will buy it and listen to it until it explodes from being played so often!!!...

10-The Click - my favorite EVER.i just love the lyrics,i really relate to that song.the best song from them in my opinion, together with Waldorf Worldwide,East Coast,Little Things and Young & The Hopeless.this is a bonus track of the cd

Thank You Mom - one of my favorites too.hidden track of the album.they thank their mom.and i think its just a beautiful song.like Emotionless on The Young & The Hopeless.

i think this cd is wayyyyy better than The Young & The Hopeless.its like with this cd you get the feeling that they were just having fun recording the album.with The Young & The Hopeless its like they wanted to play more on MTV and radios..i dont know.TY&TH its a great cd dont get me wrong.but this one is more jumpy and fun and as some people says..more punk elements on it.the second cd is more pop/punk.

Free Music Review: Great
Hit: 5 Stars

Good Charlottes first album shines, with great emotional and punk music.

1. Little Things- Probably GC's most popular song, I can see why. The lyrics are catchy and the music is awesome. 10/10

2. Waldorf Worldwide- A great follow to Little Things, very catch lyrics and music. 9/10

3. Motivation Proclamation- A nice slower song, nice lyrics with a good beat, a very nice chill song finishing strong- 9/10

4. East Coast Anthem- Definately my favorite song off the album. Representin the east coast with great guitar and lyrics, definately one of the better songs. 10/10

5. Festival Song- This song is a good fun song. The music is good but its not as good as the others, still a good song though. 7/10

6. Complicated- Second favorite song on here, a cool slow acoustic type song. Great lyrics and vocals. I love this song. 10/10

7. Seasons- A sad song about losing a girl, a very great song. It ends with great music and vocals, making it a top song. 10/10

8. Don't Wanna Stop- This is probably my least favorite song on the album, the repetiveness gets on your nerves but the music isn't too shabby. 6/10

9. I Heard You- A cool song about a girl. The lyrics are great and you can relate to. I like the music and beat, especially the drums. 9/10

10. Walk By- A slower song at first, but then gets moving, its not a bad song but its not one of my favorites. Overall its a decent song. 7/10

11. Let Me Go- I like this song alot. Let Me Go have some fun... its got great guitar and drums. 9/10

12. Screamer- This is a pretty cool song, i like the music and its a good written song. 8/10

13. Change- A faster paced song would have been good to close, but this song is just as good. Its a slow, but beautifully written song. I really enjoy listening to this song. 10/10

Great album overall.
