Free Music Review: Deep, Meaningful.....and Amazing....

First of all, I just started liking this type of music. I never listened to a punk/rock group no more than 2 months ago. At First I heard Good Charlotte's new cd (The Young and the Hopeless), and it really didn't click with me. But then my brother kept playing it and I fell in love with "Lifestyles of the rich and the famous". So i went out and bought that cd. And after that I heard they had a self-titled cd. I listened to my brothers copy, and the next day, I was out buying a copy for my own collection. The songs are extraordinarily written. Especially "Little Things", "Seasons", and "Thank You Mom". Good Charlotte really knows how to write powerful and touching lyrics. They could write an amazing sad and meaningful song, and then go and do a fun, upbeat happy song. Good Charlotte is excellent, and even though I just started listen to punk/rock, they are by far the best group I've heard. Go out and buy this cd, don't burn it, that's cheap. I love Good Charlotte, I'm not one of those fans that became fans the second "Lifestyles" hit the air (not that there's anything wrong with that), I was a fan before that (became a fan in February of 2002), and this is my favorite CD out of all of them. It's so simple and fun to listen to, some good songs on it are "Motivation Proclamation" (first song I ever heard by them), "Waldorf Worldwide", "East Coast Anthem" (well I like it because I'm from NY, but its such a good song), "Screamer", "The Click", "Complicated" (gotta love Joel's rap), and "Seasons". Actually, the entire album rocks, its fun, and every GC fan should own it. For some of you on the message board, you'll realize why we miss Joel's little random sounds, and the Pink Patch, and it's also just a really good CD. Buy it, burn it, download it, do whatever it takes to get it, trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I know I'm probably going to sound like every other obsessed GC fan out there but how can anyone not rave about an album when it's as great as this one is? I bought this cd about a week after I bought The Young and The Hopeless and I had my doubts about it since it's their first album, but after having listened to it a few times I actually prefer it. I love the songs Little Things, Motivation Proclamation, Screamer and Change. I've probably listened to them about a thousand times. The only track I don't really like is Walk By, but even that's an ok song. I can't wait until they release their next cd. If you're reading this and you don't own this cd, go and buy it now, you won't be disappointed! BTW I would also recommend the Cd Liberation: Songs to Benefit Peta, it has an awesome acoustic version of lifestyles of the Rich and famous on it. Part of the proceeds are donated to Peta (animal rights). Can it get any better? Peace and Love :)Free Music Review: my god

i've loved GC since the first song i heard about 2 years ago (girls and boys) i immediately bought the young and the hopeless and i love every song on it....now im obsessed with GC the person who sed "there all 11 year old kids who think there punk rawkers listening to this" well guess what....i dont care what the heck im listening to...im not stupid!!! i like them for what kind of music they play not for if there punk or not
if your gunna diss GC i suggest u do it somewhere else...this is a review not a "kill GC by putting every little thing thats bad against them" website
so leave GC alone

Free Music Review: My New Favorite! - the hottest new Talented Five

I had barely heard anything of Good Charlotte before seeing them at Warped Tour 2002 - AND THEY WERE AWESOME! I had had some GC songs downloaded but never really listened to them before the Tour, but their energy and enthusiasm - as well as LACK of neandertholithic profanity when talking to the audience - made them the highlight of the concert, and I had to rush out and buy their CD immediately. Good Charlotte's self-titled album is definitely one of the play-it-in-the-car-good-and-loud-while-driving-fast CD's that you just have to love!!! Not only do their melodies make you wanna sing along and jump up all crazy-like, but their moving lyrics give you a sense there's something deeper to these guys than Saturday night debauchery or teenage woes. Punk and emo fans, if you want an awesome CD that you can listen to over and over and not get sick of, I definitely recommend it! Rock on, Good Charlotte!
