Free Music Review: A great effort for something new

I am not under 13..but over...Anyway,I believe there's other better groups out there than gc,no doubt..But I like GC even though there are some pointless songs..I like their honest lyrics..just expressing what they think..and not using too flowery or complicated words..although honest lyrics can go crummy...their upbeat tunes too are fun to listen to..and i also like their effort..their first 2 albums were great..and when I heard this one it was completely different...Which is ok coz they want to try something new..The first time listening to this album,may get you thinking that they're just horible and not punk at all(but that's not the point of this album)..But when you really listen to it,then maybe it will change your mind a bit and show you they're not bad at all. listening to they're songs first through may get you the idea of what they're trying to say but not fully understand it. but if you really listen and understand,then you will get the true deep meaning and message of their songs and what they're expressing. But it will also be good if they be positive about things..but that's ok..since they want to show a darker side of the group..there are some slow,mellow,dramatic and boring songs(but to some have great meanings/messages along with it..and I like some of it too)..but overall the album is mature and great, wif deep meaning songs..which shows a darker gc to the world..Free Music Review: An Amazing Step in a Direction i wasnt expecting

Well being a former worker at trendy music store, i begin to really dislike GC, i mean i loved there first 2 albums but seeing all these poppy girls come in buying there crap and not even heard of any of there other crap pissed me off, so i just kept a few of my favs on MP3 but i had to add this CD to my collection of CD's i must say those little 12 year olds arnt going to understand this album out all, it is all in all a extremly mature album. the 12 year olds and those pop girls will just sing along to words that are meaninless but the words in the whole Album our moving and mature. I have to give this my best grade cause it is haunting spooky, mature and everything a person needs to here. It will help everyone out..
SOS- Best song they have every done, deep and good for everyone looking for some help in life
Predictable- Fast, Catchy, and once again very deep and mature, just wants what everyone else wants...but girls r too predictable and life is too predictable.
The Truth- Another great song i can relate to it, cause my girl and i our going through that song lol.
Wounded- hidden after the antham live....Very great song

ok i dont know all the song titles by heart,and i dont have my cd with me but i will try 2 tell u what there like the best i can.
this album is definetly darker and kinda depressing sounding,but its still good.most of there songs sound the same as on there previous albums,but there r a couple that r differnt.
example:i just wanna live,you will be shocked,this 1 sounds totally diffent not like gc at all!!it has a pop sound 2 it and joel kinda raps in it,its awesome!!!
my fav song on here is probaly the world is black,i just like the tempo of it,i also luv s.o.s,that one is the prequel 2 hold on,so all u ppl that luv hold on will luv this!!
ok well thats all i gotta say,go buy the album,u wont be dissapointed.oh and also i have 1 more thing 2 anti gc ppl.
u say how they should stop complaining and whining,um what else do u want them 2 sing about.at least there lyrics have meaning and give hope and arent all about sex and parting and all that.so just stop complaing

First of all I love GC and there's nothing you GC haters can do about it. You haters look so ridiculous and immature complaining about how GC is not punk. What exactly are you trying to prove? I keep hearing things like "Good Charlotte is not punk" or "There posers!!". Seriously people get real! I never waste my time insulting other bands. I dislike some bands, but I don't insult them. So what if GC isn't punk I've seen interviews and stuff and they know that there not punk. What I admire about them is that they don't care what people say and they just be themselves and there true to themselves. It's not like there trying to be more punk with there music. I seriously would like to see all you haters start a band. I understand if you don't like there music then you don't like it that's okay. But all this insulting and "not punk" or "poser" thing is getting really annoying. I don't think there punk, but I still like there music. They are what they are and theres nothing you can do about it. So all you haters just stop dissing GC you guys look really ridiculously stupid doing that and I'm serious.
Oh and for all you other ppl I recommend you buy there cds and give them a chance. GC is the best band ever!!
Free Music Review: My Views on The Chronicles Of Life And Death

Since 2000 Good Charlotte has grown up a lot. On they're first record songs were about they're home life, and high school bullies. One this new record (released October 5/2004) they are writing about a lot of different subjects. From songs like `Predictable', to songs like `I Just Wanna Live', this record is really great. The first single off of the record titled `Predictable' is about going into a relationship knowing you are going to get hurt but you go into it anyway. A lot of kids and young adults can relate to almost every song on this record. On they're second record released in 2000, they touched with subjects like suicide, and depression, but on this record they are more mature, and have a more pure sound. It seems they write straight from the heart, and I respect and admire that about this band. Frontman Joel Madden has said `We are just trying to give the truth to our fans, and give them something to look forward too' which you can definitely hear when you listen to this record. I would recommend this record to everyone that has had something go wrong in they're life and are looking for hope. This is a truly great record and I think everyone should go out and buy it now.
