Free Music Review: Good Charlotte is better
Hit: 5 Stars

I hate when people write reviews of how bands suck. I mean, I know you hate them, but you don't have to go saying that they are trying to be punk or whatever. I've read that they never said they were punk. Anyway, I think Good Charlotte rocks. They have matured so much, and their songs are more deep. I'd rather listen to this than to all the poopy stuff that people sing about, like big butts and stuff, so that's why I like Good Charlotte. "I Just Wanna Live" is more of the brighter songs that I like, and "The World is Black" is a darker one I also like. I think Good Charlotte has done great on this album, and it shows how much they have improved. I haven't yet gotten the CD, because I'm still deciding which one-- life or death (they're both great!!). I hope the people that wrote bad things agree with what I am saying. Over all, Good Charlotte is the best.

Free Music Review: Shockingly Great
Hit: 5 Stars

I was never a huge Good Charlotte fan at all. In fact I hated their music expect for their catchy singles off of The Young and Hopeless. My friend got free tickets to their show two weeks ago when they kicked off their tour in Seattle w/ Sum 41. I went to see Sum 41 and was disappointed with their performance. Good Charlotte though was amazing. They came out and just rocked the crowd. I loved their new material so much that within a week I had gone out and bought this cd. Its just as great as they are live. Now I'm hooked and am huge Good Charlotte fan.

They've really grown up a lot w/this albumn compared to the last. All 60 min. of the cd is listenable and I don't skip any songs. The lyrics are great and have a lot of depth to them. This is a great albumn and one of the year's best.

Free Music Review: Very Good
Hit: 5 Stars

The cd is great, a brillent addition to their previous cds. Its not the same old stuff as before but a new, updated verison of them. Sure its not plain punk rock, but its running with the times of hip hop stuff, pop stuff being so in and on the hit lists. I think they did a really good job. As for it being so sad and depressed, in an article in ym mag. they were saying it wasn't because they were sad and depressed tehy wrong hte songs. They wrote the songs for everyone that wrote them about being sad and depressed, they are songs to help people who need comfort and music to help them and give them some hope. Now those of you saying stuff like they need to mature, I think that is very mature writing songs for their fans instead of their problems. Talk about thinking about others before yourself.

Free Music Review: Like Good Charlotte did, this album grew on me
Hit: 5 Stars

When I first heard Good Charlotte's Young and the Hopeless CD a few years ago, I fell in love with them. I got their first CD and loved that one too. When The Chronicles of Life and Death came out, I couldn't wait to get it. I'll admit that I was very dissapointed with it when I finally got it, but this CD has grown on me after listening to it a few times and now I love the CD. I honestly think this CD is better than their last ones as they have grown as a band. So to the consumer I say this: If you haven't heard any old Good Charlotte, do so before you get this CD. If you are a true GC follower, this one has to be in your collection. Listen to it a few times and I'm sure you'll like it as much as I do. Well I gotta jet because I'm seeing Good Charlotte/Sum 41 tonight in Akron, OH!
