OK, so they're a cartoon band. But they're a cartoon band with attitude and style, who also know how to do good music. And what music! So many styles... From the lo-fi hip-hop digs of Clint Eastwood, to the real hardcore punky grooves of er, "punk," to the very atmospheric dark mood of m1 a1, to the poppy 19-2000.... I could go on. And I will! There is something here for everyone. People wanting solid track to track Blur, Cibo Matto (apologies for spelling) or Dan the Automator will be a bit disapointed, because this album is a fusion of just about everything. This is by no doubt THE album of the year. From the cool media image- after all, how can you not like a 10 year Japanese girl, a laid-back drummer (from the USA no less) and two English pale interesting guys- to the cool tunes, how can you be in doubt that this album oozes cool and charisma?
