I really wouldn't mind if the Dead continue to release a new box set every Christmas for the rest of eternity. This one is another solid set, with a few of the best versions of songs that I've heard on a mass-released CD. Pig never sounded better. If you want the quintessential Pigpen, this is it, as he smokes on harmonica as well as keyboards. Fantastic!

Heard snippets of this CD at a friends house and decided to buy it. What a great decision! This 4 CD rivals or is better than my previous all time favorite Dead album - Europe '72. Buy this - you won't be disappointed.
