I don't remember liking the movie that much and hardly remember it, but you can't go wrong with the soundtrack. This is so very easy to listen to and never boring. A must for those into soundtracks and for Olivia Newton-John fans. I never thought of John Travolta as a singer, but he does a more than passable job here.Free Music Review: Great Soundtrack

Most movie soundtracks are full of songs that aren't that good. Grease on the other hand is full of songs by a steller cast. Each one is a glimpse either into the era that is the birth of rock and roll or into the viscuous life of the American teenager.
Good songs that are worth listening to over and over.

I am so thankful I grew up in the era when this movie came out. It was not only a pleasure to watch, but it was fantastic to listen to. John and Olivia are amazing - together - both with their onscreen chemistry and their singing. THIS SOUNDTRACK IS THE BEST CD EVER MADE! THEY ARE CLASSIC SONGS AND GREAT SING-ALONG-TUNES THAT WILL NEVER DIE. IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER TO EVERY GENERATION THAT HEARS AND WILL BE AROUND FOR A LONG TIME TO COME. If your a new or rising Olivia fan. I highly reccomend this cd. This is how I got into her and heck I am only 19 I was a fan at 16. Anyways this cd is a MUST HAVE for all Olivia fans and even Grease fans. It's fun to dance to. All the songs are catchy. I play this at my parties alot. So go out and get Grease!!!
