What a up-beat film! And a great soundtrack! Many great songs sung by the endearing Olivia Newton-John and everyone's favorite John Travolta. Stockard Channing does a great job on her tunes too!A virtual who's who before tehy became who's! Sha-Na-Na records some of our favorite 50's tunes.
Tell me that you can listen to HAND JIVE and still sit still! You CAN'T!

Free Music Review: Still a Hit!

Nearly thirty years later, this movie is still a hit in my home! When I was very young, Grease was one of the most fun, exciting, romantic movies I had ever seen. I collected the cards, adored Danny, knew, sang, and danced to every song - you remember doing the same, don't you? I bought the DVD and Soundtrack and, wouldn't you know it, my boys got hooked! On the way to school, my 1st, 5th, and 7th graders and I are singing our hearts out!
It's so much fun for the family! To captivate an audience, from one generation to the next - what an awesome feat!

This verse from Grease soundtracks exactly describe Grease album.. It is the time because we can listen to it everytime we like. It is the place because we can listen to it everywhere we like. It is the motion because we can dance and have fun while listenning to this album. It is the way we are feeling because this album will bring good feeling within ourselves...Grease is the word!!

This is an excellent album and it most certainly has not aged. It is still as fresh and as much fun as it was when it was first released. It is a soundtrack that appeals to any age, from babies to the elderly. And who out there has not heard at least some of the songs on the radio, even if they have never seen the movie! And the songs are so catchy and singable, and make you feel happy even when you're down. There is also an enchanced version which I have, that features clips from the movie. But regardless, the music on this album is a must.Free Music Review: Grease - Timeless

Grease will continue to stand the test of time forever. I am in my fifties, my son is 18. I enjoyed the movie's music when I was his age, he enjoys it as much now, 34 years later from the time I first did. Apparently the music is timeless. Just as it moved people to sing along, dance or click their fingers at the very least when it was first heard, so does it continue to do the same now.
I can almost see my son introducing this music to his children in the future, and their enjoying this as much as I did then and now.
