Free Music Notes for Grease (Original 1978 Motion Picture Soundtrack)Free Music Review: Awesome! Hit: 5 Stars
This is a great CD. Not only is the movie great, but so is the music. I love all the songs, especially "We Go Together", "Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee", and "You're The One That I Want." All the cast are good singers, and they put so much character into the songs. For example, during "Summer Nights", the T-Birds and Pink Ladies have nice voices but still manage to stay in their characters. Five big stars!
Free Music Review: Wonderful! Hit: 5 Stars
Bring back memories as you sing along to these classic favorites! Who can forget "One That I Want" "Grease (is the word)" and "Summer Nights"?! Or who would want to?! This CD will please your ears for hours. This is the kind of CD that everyone screams the words to at parties ("Greased Lightning") and has an absolute blast dancing to while it is on the CD player. Get it and enjoy it forever!
Free Music Review: Yeah Grease!!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I am in marching band and this year for our show we did songs from "Grease." We played "Grease", "Summer Nights", "Hopelessly Devoted", "Greased Lightnin'", "You're the One that I Want" and "We Go Together." I am a freshman so this was my first show but I loved it!!!!! The music is awesome and our band did pretty well at competitions. I definately love this CD because it has all the great songs from the movie "Grease."
Free Music Review: Entertaining Hit: 5 Stars
I love musicals, so this might make me biased, but I like this soundtrack. Although I would have to say that after the first four or five songs, they seem to repeat. That said, I had listened to the soundtrack before seeing the movie, and once I saw it the rest of the songs made more sense, but they all did have a bit of the same elements in them. I prefer Broadway music, not pop culture musicals. But still I good album.
Free Music Review: Fun Stuff Hit: 5 Stars
Grease is one of those guilty pleasures in life. There is no substantial music here, but it's just plain old fun to listen to. Try not singing along to songs like "Summer Nights", "You're The One That I Want" or "Greased Lightnin'". The title track is a great combination of doo-wop and disco and "Beauty School Drop Out" is campy fun. All in all, Grease is fun stuff.
