Free Music Review: I keep watching...
Hit: 5 Stars

Reviews for this concert video seem to fit one of three categories:
You hate Green Day and everything they do (so why are you here?).
You love Green Day and think they can do no wrong.
You're a huge fan, saw them live four times in the last two years, and are disappointed that watching this video doesn't match the experience.
I was in this last group when I first got it (though I'd only seen them once live). But sitting in your living room watching TV will NEVER match the chaos that is GD's live show, no matter how loud you play it. And now that I've had this for several months, I'm surprised at how often I play it even now. When life gets boring or crappy, just lay on the floor and crank up the sound -- it takes you right back to the crazy excitement of that concert if you've seen them, or creates its own excitement if you haven't. Green Day are exceptional showmen and this has them on top of their game. These concerts obviously meant a lot to them, and it's nice to hear them talk about it during the interview clips. (No jaded rockstar bull***t). Just because American Idiot addresses serious subjects, doesn't mean Green Day doesn't still know how to have fun. And with Bullet in a Bible, they do their past to pass that fun along to their fans. Thanks, guys.

Free Music Review: Could You Be Any More Pathetic?
Hit: 5 Stars

Ok, if you are head over heels for Green Day, write a decent review...if you are here to trash Green Day because you think that you know what "real" music is...get out. Seriously, the people that write "omg...punk is sooo dead...emo is XXXCOREXXX" get a life. Emo...first of all...is a pathetic classification of music. I mean do I necessarily have to "cut my wrists and black my eyes" and get a lip ring, dye my hair a completely unnatural shade and get a dykish shag cut to be "EMO"?? No. "Emo" music as you retards like to call it...is actually decent, however somewhat overrated. ANYWAY. Back to Green Day. This is actually the first band that got me hooked onto music so I can never replace any gratitude I have for these 3 guys. I have the actual American Idiot cd and plan on buying the Bullet In A Bible. Green Day is the epitome of punk music. Its exactly what you want to listen to after a day of complete boredom...I mean when you hear the line "when masturbation's lost its fun...you're f****** lonely" you gotta crack up. All in all. Green Day is the winner. Green Day usurps every title deemable in musical taste. And if you don't like them...go do what you do best. (cut your wrists)

Free Music Review: Green Day Comes Back With More!
Hit: 5 Stars

Green Day managed to produce another great heart pounding punk-rock gem. You get:
- 14 (or l5 including Shout) awesome songs
- a cool jewel case
- Interviews with fans and the band members themselves
- backstage scenes
- Behind the scenes footage
- a really cool photo gallery with music (Boulevard)
- A never before heard song by Green Day!
- And a whole bunch more!

The following songs on cd ARE child approproate:

l. Are We The Waiting
2. King For A Day
3. Shout
4. Wake Me Up When September Ends
5. Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)

The DVD is the same except Are We The Waiting Billie swears in, but is a great song, and perfromance. St. Jimmy is also great.

I still don"t know why they did not put in the WHOLE concert.

First of all they took off Jaded! Billie gets everybody with a squirt gun! Knowledge, witch is a really cool song off of Slappy Hour, She, Homecomiing, a great song unoticed, Maria, and We Are The Champions! Great cd, but coud have been a tad better. Still, 5 star cd. It gets an A+!

Free Music Review: not too shabby-babby
Hit: 5 Stars

back in november, shortly after i had become officially obsessed with green day, i was counting down the days until november 15th when i could go down to target and get bullet in a bible with specialy reserved birthday money. i was really not disappointed! i thought it was great, /except/... (yes theres always a but)
they just cut out so darn much! i mean, even the schedualed lineup(you can see the paper on the wall back stage in some of teh shots in 'hitchin a ride') was much longer then the tracks given! evil, evil producers... even more evil, they show tiny clips of parts they chopped(tunny and the blitzkreig bop, some part where billie has a squirt gun, ect) but /nothing/! evil evil evil i say! they chopped around 2-4 hours of great content! i was upset how they edited even further in teh cd version of it.. cutting out the harmonica solo in 'minority' and tons of good crowd interactoins and extras in 'hitchin a ride' and 'holiday'.
even so, i must give it a 5. even though it is the way it is, it is still great.
and the preformance of 'brain stew' is awosome! /my/ favorite on there! =D

Free Music Review: Truly a great documentary/live show...
Hit: 5 Stars

Just as all the Green Day fans that participated in going to one or more of their shows knows, this does lack a good few songs from the full events. It's disappointing, yes, but all together it really is STILL a near-perfect (perfect with those songs back in, but still deserves five stars in my opinion) show to watch in your DVD player. The CD also cuts even MORE from the actual show on DVD, but it's not enough to really notice to an extent unless you're a very close listener.
My advice to you is that if you've NEVER seen Green Day in concert, you will NOT be disappointed with this DVD if you've wanted to see them, but haven't gotten the chance. To you that have attended a show or more of theirs on this tour (which includes me), you won't be disappointed either, trust me! I enjoyed it and was able to get into it quite well! True, the documentary points between songs could have been seperated from the actual performance, but all-in-all, it almost seems they were appropriately placed in to make everything go smoothly so you don't have to lose the thrill for the next song to come.
