Really excellent live cd. Green Day sounds really amazing. Having seen them live myself I can say that they do put on a really incredible show and sound just as great as they do on this cd. Half the songs are devouted to the American Idiot cd while the remaining numbers cover their vast back catalog and a cover. I wish Green Day would put out a double cd of live performances. They have so many great songs I would love to hear. The dvd is good, but I don't like the editing and it doesn't flow like a real concert. For the Ammazon.com reviewer I had to set the record straight, American Idiot and BIAB are not anti-American. And if you had watched or listened to it you would know that. Billie-Joe himself says it quite plainly that the song Hoilday is anti-war. And after many, many listens to both AI and BIAB I agree. It's quite possible to be an American and not believe in War or support the current administration and punk has always been the voice of the disaffected. This is a high energy, sincere, ass-kicking performance by the world's greatest band. Billie Joe is the voice of his generation, like Bruce and Elvis before him, he can sing anything. The whole concert breezes by because it just takes over your mind for a while and let's you have a rest. As far as the "explicit lyrics" warning, forget it, that's ridiculous. These guys are as pure-hearted as you can get. Great versions of all the songs, particularly "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)" at the end.Free Music Review: A great band giving a great show to a great audience

If you've never seen Green Day live this is probably the next best thing, a video record of one of their grandest shows. They're at one of their peaks, as American Idiot had become a sensation, and playing in England - the breeding ground of the original punk movement - in front of a huge, die-hard crowd. It doesn't get much better than this. There are little interview snippets and backstage scenes interspersed between some songs, so be ready for that. But all in all really a blast of the good stuff.Free Music Review: WOW!

There are no words to describe this live CD/DVD release. Green Day is simply amazing and they put on remarkable live shows. It's funny how some bands sound completely different live than they do on CD because of studio alterations, but Green Day sounds EXACTLY the same live as they do in recording. Watching the DVD just always puts a smile on my face because they are so energetic and so passionate about their performances. There has never been, nor will be, another band quite like Green Day.
