IF you are a punk rock fan, Green Day is your band. They are absolutely amazing and always will be. First of all, Billie-Joe Armstrong is a true rock revolutionary. He has and an unmistakable voice that will be recognized everywhere. His guitar skills are also quite accomplished. Mike "Dirnt" is by far the best bassist out there today. He is absolutely amazing. He plays the bass guitar like he is soloing on a normal electric guitar. Finally, the fantastic Tre Cool on drums. Another one of the best in his field. If you listen to the drums in the background, you will be blown away at how good he is.
International Superhits is by far their best CD yet, and it should be since it is a Greatest Hits album. Everyone of these 21 songs deserves to be on this CD and totally kicks ass. The CD starts out with two new tracks that are just as good as the rest. If you are a newcomer to green day, a casual fan, or even if you have all of their CD's, I recomend this CD. Every fan of Punk Rock or any type of Rock music for that matter should go out and buy this CD
Free Music Review: Best punk pop album yet

Green Day might not be as talented as Weezer, but this CD beats any of the Weezer albums. Why? Because its a hit album and it covers the hits perfectly. I hate getting hits albums that don't cover the best of the best such as "The Ozzmeth Cometh" but this CD really kicks butt because every song on it deserves to be there. It is missing however, one important song, "2000 Light Years Away" from an early CD. Another great thing about this album is even if you dont get the rest of the Green Day albums and this is the only one you have, youll still get to know the intense, rocking personality of Green Day. Long View, Hitchin A Ride, and Basket Case are song highlights on this CD but all of the songs are great and come with their own personality and character. Maria, which is still a good song, is the weakest song on the album. The only problem with this CD is that once you get it you can't stop listening to it and its a CD you can easily tire of. Even with that fact, this is a must buy album and I consider it one of the best of the 90s and early 2000s.Free Music Review: GREEN DAY STRIKES GOLD WITH HITS COMPILATION

Though Green Day did not score a lot of hits here in the US of A, their International Superhits where the album cover looks like Foxy Brown meets the Mod Squad is a delicious treat.With recognizable songs as "Longview", "Warning" and "Basket Case" the other songs size well side by side with these hits such as "Macys Day Parade", "Poprocks & Coke" and "Maria" to name a few.
Green Day had their 15 seconds of fame in the mid 90s and slowly with all the Britneys, Justins and Christinas went by the way side.....shame.
MTV unfortunately now basically ignores this band and sales have also slumped, but still "International Superhits" is a treat with 21 songs making this look like King Kong and Madonna's cheap & been there, done that "GHV2" look like a squished little ant.
This is a compilation that Green Day put together for their fans that will give you your complete monies worth.
A great Christmas present for that Green Day fan in the household.

Greenday has been around for a good amount of time. They've been big hits with each CD they release and their popularity has steadily grown. Needless to say, they've had some incredible hits. They've owned Ireland and America with relative ease. The amount of CDs they've released has been gargantuan. They play with great skill and all their songs are truly catchy. You can go up to anyone and them if they've heard of Greenday and odds are they'll say yes, as well as give you a list of all the songs they like from them.When I heard of this CD I went crazy. Although Greenday has never been my #1 favorite band, it's always been at the top due to some song I heard recently. This CD combined all those "some song"'s in one album. Listening to this a very enjoyable experience. If you like bands like Blink 182, Sum 41, Jimmy Eat World, or just enjoy rock/punk rock, then this is a must have. Ireland proves to the world it can play music with this CD alone. All of Greenday's massive hits in one long album.
