Hit: 5 Stars

Also greenday's last good album. They messed around alot on this and ended up with a diverse and incredible album.
Nice guys finish last-10/10-this is the anthem of the cd. Instant classic.
Hitching a ride-10/10-A little more interesting twist on a green day song. One of the best on the cd.
The Grouch-10/10-Another classic greenday song about a guy with ambitions, who screwed up and is an moron now.
Redundant-8/10-A little poppy. I guess alot poppy. Still cool.
Scattered-9/10-another poppy one. This one rocks though.
All the time-10/10-one of my favs. Classic.
worry rock-9.5/10-little poppy. But very very good.
Platypus-10/10-my favorite on the cd. Really punk. the lyrics arn't in the book cuz there is a slur of bad words. This one rocks.
uptight-7/10-the guitar is anoyingly repetitive.
last ride in-7/10-entirly instumental. interesting, but i can't love it.
jinx-10/10-Another classic sounding green day song. Awsome.
Walking alone-9/10-cool harmonica. I love it. catchy too.
Reject-10/10-this one is pretty punk and really cool.
Take back-8/10-this one is a funny parody of death metal.
King for a day-10/10-i love it!!! so funny and really good ska experiment.
Good riddance(time of your life)-8/10-i always have to admit that i like this song, even though it was the fall of green day.
Prosthetic head-10/10-great to end with. Funny and classic.

Free Music Review: I was a fool
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm old school. Actually, I'm just old. I'm 31 and I've been listening to punk since I was 13. I was introduced to Green Day back in 1991, when 39/Smooth was their only album. I saw them play live, and I loved them. 39/Smooth, Slappy, 1000 Hours, these remain some of my favorite records. I liked the records that came later, but never as much as I loved the ones on the first CD. I loved Dookie, I thought it was cool at the time that they took on a harder, heavier, more "punk rock" sound. And while I can't deny that I also liked Insomniac, it seemed to me that Green Day had stagnated into a generic riff style. So, when Nimrod was released, I didn't care. I never bought it. The only song I ever heard off of it was Good Riddance, and it certainly didn't make me want to buy the album. (Not that it's a bad song... it's just Billie Joe's "Yesterday".) Well, last week I was listening to the radio on the way home from work and heard a song that I'd never heard before. I instantly knew it was Green Day. The DJ said that it was off of their brand new album, so I stopped at a record store and picked up both Nimrod and Warning right then and there. Anyway, the short version is: I really wish I'd bought Nimrod back in 1997. It's already my 2nd favorite Green Day album, just behind 39/Smooth. (Unfortunately I think Warning is probably their weakest album so far, though it does have a few very good songs on it.)

Free Music Review: GREETINGS FROM IRELAND.THIS ALBUM WILL BLOW YOU AWAY........
Hit: 5 Stars

hey everyone...i bought this album on the same day that i bought Insomniac.Well who would have thought? Green Day actually matured and made probably their most proffessional album to date.Sure we all know their other albums just kicked the worlds @ss but this one is very different.None of the songs sound the same which is somethin you might have noticed in their previous music. There is just somethin about Nimrod that is so different. For instance, who the F**K would have guessed that green day would use harmonica's and trumpets n stuff in their albums like in the songs 'Walking Alone' and 'King for a day'? The song 'Uptight' is fantastic as are 'Hitchin a ride', 'scattered','prosthetic head' 'nice guyz finish last' 'worry rock' and my 2 favourites 'Good Riddance' and 'Haushinka' When them 3 totally awesome dudes play their sh!t you can kiss your sorry @ss goodbye cos this album will blow you away.incase you dont know, there are 17 tracks and they all rock. When i heard the first 7 tracks i thought, well looks like Billie joe has stopped writing fudged up music.then when no. 8 came on i realised i was wrong. The lyrics were so damn crazy they couldn't put them onto the manual.f**ks here and f**ks there talkin bout all sorts of crazy sh!t.I will never hate green day EVEN IF THEY TURN COUNTRY! .In all honesty, Green Day are the best and Nimrod proves it.......
